Chapter 20: You.....you know me?

Natsume's POV

I woke up from my slumber. I look around to see my bedroom. Shu must have carried me back from school. Why do I feel so tired? I felt Yui in trouble.
Natsume: Yui, why are you in trouble now?
I sat up from my bed and was about to stand up.
*Thump*
Natsume: Nng!
I fell down on the floor. My body feels weak and my head feels like it's splitting open.
Natsume: *pants* Why is my body hurting? My head hurts.
I try getting up but my legs feel weak. I slowly stand up and walk slowly to the door.
*Thump*
My head, it hurts. I lean against the door. I can barely stand. The thump in my head is getting louder and I start getting dizzy.
Natsume: No, Y-Yui needs me.
I walk out of my room and slowly try to find Yui. But each step I take, the pain grows bigger.
I finally get to a door. I opened it to see it was was the entrance door. I walk out and my head is starting to feel calm.
Natsume: This never happened to me. What's going on?
I felt scared, I look around to see Subaru and a man.
Subaru: What are you doing here?
Man: Subaru, why won't you call me uncle?
Subaru: Shut up!
This man is the brothers's uncle. Why, why do I feel like I know him?
*THUMP*
Natsume: Aah!
I fell down to my knees. The pain is overwhelming. I gonna faint. They looked at me. Subaru looked shocked while the man just smirked. The man walked over to me.
Man: Aah, you must be Natsume. It's been a long time since I've seen you.
Natsume: W-Who are you?
Man: I see, the spell must be breaking off.
Natsume: S-Spell?
Man: Let me introduce myself. I am Richter Sakamaki, these brothers uncle. No need to introduce yourself, Natsume Kurosaki.
Subaru: Kurosaki!
Natsume: I'm not a K-Kurosaki anymore. My name is Natsume Komori.
Richter: But,
He kneeled down and touched my cheek.
Richer: the blood of a Kurosaki is still flowing in your vains.
Natsume: Stay away from me!
I hit his hand away but he grabbed my wrist and pinned me down.
Richter: So cute, just like your father.
Subaru: Oi!!
Richter: Stand back Subaru, or else.
Subaru backed down and looked away angrily.
Subaru: Tch.
My father, this man knows my father.
Natsume: How do you know him?
Richter: You don't remember me at all. You don't know anything about your father.
Natsume: My father is a demon! What's so special about that?!
Richter: *chuckles* Not just any demon. Your father is the king of hell! Satan himself! But, ever since he fell in love with a human, he was stripped away from his throne.
Natsume: M-My father, ruler of hell. That can't be possible!
Richter: You know who is the ruler now? It's your brother.
I was frozen in shock. B-Brother, I had a brother.
Richter: You must be shocked. Here, let me help you remember.
He leaned and bit my neck. The pain I had hurts 10 times more than last time. I suddenly have a flashback.

*Flashback*

5 years old Natsume
I ran outside in my old home. I was running out happily like any other child.
Natsume: Big brother!
I see another child. He looks like an 8 year old kid.

?: Natsume!
They both hugged each other.
Natsume: What game are we gonna play?
?: This game is a common one that humans play.
Natsume: What is it?
?: It's called Hide-And-Seek! One person hides while the other counts to 30. Want to play?
Natsume: Yes!
?: Okay! Go start hiding.
The two children play with each other all day. This is my brother? How come I don't remember? This looked so much fun.
Mom: Natsume! Ichiro! It's time for dinner!
Ichiro: Okay mom!
Ichiro grabbed my hand.
Ichiro: Let's go Natsume.
We both walked back to the house. We were eating happily like a normal family. How did this change?
Richter suddenly shows up.
Richter: Lets go to your families death.

10 year old Natsume

Natsume: Ichiro! Where's Mom and Dad?
Ichiro: Don't worry, I'll protect you.
The door was slammed open. It was father. His clothes were tattered and he was spilling blood.
Dad: Ichiro!
Ichiro: Father!
Dad: Ichiro, put Natsume asleep.
Ichiro covered my 10 year old eyes and made me fall asleep.
Dad: Ichiro, it looks like I'm gonna die.
Ichiro: No!
Dad: Please, make Natsume forget. I don't want him to feel pain when he grows up. Please send him to Undertaker, he will take care of Natsume.
Ichiro: W-What should I do?
Dad: Please, be the next ruler of the underworld. The next person who is gonna be king will ruin this world. So please, hurry.
Father fainted.
Richter: Aww, I was having fun killing you but you already drop dead.
Ichiro: You, you killed him!
Richter: Don't glare at me. I'll kill you too. The hunters already killed off your mother.
Ichiro teleported away. He went to Undertakers.
Ichiro: Undertaker! Please open up!
Undertaker opened the door.
Undertaker: Why are you yelling child?
Ichiro: Please! Take care of him!
Undertaker carried my 10 year old body.
Ichiro: My father, Hayato Kurosaki said that you will take care of him. Please!
Undertaker: Hayato? What happened to him?
Ichiro: A vampire killed him. Please take care of my brother and tell him that hunters killed our parents.
Undertaker: What about you?
Ichiro: Don't tell him about me.
Ichiro kissed my forehead, rearranging my memories.
Ichiro: Good bye.
Ichiro disappeared.

*Present time*

I open my eyes, tears were dropping out of my eyes.
Natsume: You! You killed them!
Richter: That's right.
He lets me go.
Richter: See you later Natsume. The awakening will manifest without awaiting its time.
He disappeared. I looked at Subaru who was shocked as well.
Natsume: Subaru, please don't tell the brothers of what just happened here.
Subaru: I won't. Don't worry.
Natsume: Thank you.
The wound on my neck healed.
Natsume: What is the awakening?
Subaru: I can't tell you. Find a book in Reiji's library, I'm sure he has a book about it.
Natsume: Alright, bye Subaru.
I gave him a small hug. I let go and began to walk in the mansion.

I walked inside and walked to Reiji's room. Along the way, I recap the memories I had with my brother.
Natsume: I have a brother. I hope I can meet you again Ichiro. Maybe someday.
