Ross's POV
It's been a week since we brought Aimee home from the hospital. She's doing okay, I guess. Like the doctor said though, she hasn't been talking a lot.

She never wants to hang out. I wonder why though? I wonder why she's depressed? I know it's probably because of her dad and then having flashbacks but I told her I wouldn't let him near her.

I'll protect her even if it means getting myself killed.

Even though she never wants to hang out, I go over every night to talk to her and just tuck her in.

I like her and I want to make her know that I'll be here for her no matter what.

Seeing her hurt, hurts me. You have no idea. No one does. When I see her smile it makes me smile. When I see her laugh, it makes me laugh. Probably because I love how she laughs and it's the funniest laugh ever but it's so cute.

Hearing her talk makes my heart race and I'll always be there to listen to her.

Every word is to make her notice what she means to me and I wish she knew.

"Hey Ross!" Rydel says, walking in my room. "Hey. Where are you going?" I asked, admiring the outfit she had on. Not to sound gross or anything but she looks pretty damn beautiful.

"Connor is taking me out on a date" she smiled. "I just wanted to check in on you first!" She added. I smiled.

She's literally the best older sister ever. Anyone would be lucky to have a sister like her. I never felt lucky to have a sibling like her. She puts others before herself. She helps others before herself. That what makes her special.

"I'm doing good. So you're really falling for this guy?" I asked, referring to Connor.

She smiled. "Yea. I guess I am"

I smiled but then realized something. "Rydel, you should probably about something! Ellingt-" I got cut off.

"BABE! WE HAVE TO LEAVE OR WE'LL BE LATE!" Connor yelled from downstairs, cutting me off.

"I better go. See you later!" She says, running out. I sighed walking downstairs. I walk into the kitchen where mom was on the phone. "Yea! I'll ask him if he saw her!" Mom says, hanging up.

I looked at mom with concern on my face. "Um, that was Aimee's mom. She said that Aimee apparently went out to get something to eat because she was upset and needed time alone but that was 4 hours ago so Aimee went missing. Have you talked or see her?" She asked.

"No but I might know where she is. She showed me this secret hiding spot a while ago and she goes there whenever she's upset. I'll go check!" I say, grabbing my car keys and running out.

I jumped in my car and drove to the secret place. I hopped out of my car and looked around. I walked a little further and I couldn't believe my eyes. Aimee was sitting on a bench and she was drunk, drinking a beer, and with like literally 40 beer cans that was crunched and thrown on the ground all over the place.
