Ross's POV
We were still in the waiting room. I was balling my eyes out. We all were. "Shhhh baby" Bryan says, trying to comfort Aimee's mom. Riker was holding Crystal and April was sitting next to Riker and Connor was sitting next to me.
"I'm so sorry that this happened Connor" I cried. I don't know know how I was able to get that out. I feel terrible and I couldn't stop blaming myself.
It is mainly my fault. "Stop saying sorry Ross! It's not your fault. Its Rydel's" He says.
I just nodded, still no believing anyone. "Why did I let her tell the truth? I get that it was the right thing to do but I miss her. I've been in love with her for the longest time and maybe we would've been together if this never happened!if I never found her drinking than none of this would've happened!" I say, wiping my watery eyes.
"Yea but Ross. You saved her life. If you never caught her drinking, she could've died! You saved her Ross!" Connor says, trying to stop me from feeling guilty.
"Are you sure I saved her? She's in the hospital right now! She could be dying in that room for all we know!" I snapped. He just ignored me so I could try calming down.
I looked over at Riker who was holding the two girls tightly in his arms as they cried. I looked over at Bryan and Jess who was crying. "I'm sorry about you and Rydel!" I say,after about five minutes.
"It's okay. Maybe it wasn't meant to be" Connor smiled. I just nodded. "Aimee?" The doctor asked, walking up to us. "Yea?" Jess quickly says. "You guys could see Aimee. She's not awake and we don't know if she's going to make it right now but I think you deserve to see her. She might hear everything you guys say though" he says. We all nod running to Aimee's room.
