PARTY & LABOR

Aimee's POV
It's been a few months and mom and Bryan just got married yesterday and we decided to have the reception party today. They decided to do the honey moon after the baby comes which is any day now and I'm so excited.

The best part is Christmas is just a few weeks away so we'll be able to celebrate it with the baby too! Which I'm super excited about. I heard we might even go to Colorado with the Lynch's which is even better because I'll be able to celebrate Christmas with Ross!

I smiled as I slipped my dress on. Another thing. My mom and Bryan also asked me to perform a song or two at the party which I'm a nervous wreck about it but I should be okay cause Ross will be there with me.

I smiled as I finished getting ready. I walked downstairs to see everyone ready to go. "You look amazing. Ready to go? The Lynch's are outside!" Bryan says, wrapping his arms around me.

"Yea. I'm ready, just a nervous wreck" I laughed. "You'll be great. Don't you worry" Connor says. I just nod looking at him. I haven't really talked to him or Rydel that much.

"We'll meet you guys outside. I need to talk to Aimee for a sec" Bryan says, giving my mom a gentle kiss. My mom smiled and everyone walks out. "What's up?" I asked, smiling at Bryan.

"Well, I wanted to ask you for a favor. As you know, your mother could have a baby anytime now. She could be outside and her would could break right now but the doctor said she's due today and we're going on our honeymoon for two weeks and we're leaving next week. So we're hoping that she'll of the baby either today or sometime before the end of the week so my favor is, would you be able to babysit next week when we go on the honeymoon. Ross could come over and help and you'll have Connor also." Bryan asked, making me smile real big.

"Of course! I'd love to!" I say, hugging him. He smiled and we jump into the car. On the way to the party we talked about what'll happen when she has the baby.

I hear my phone go off and looked at the caller ID to see Ross was calling me. "Hey baby! Look behind you!" I hear him chuckled. I give a confuse look and looked behind me as he said.

I see Ross's family behind me and Ross was in the back seat waving. I laughed as I say, "I see you"

"I'll see you soon. Bye" he says but before he could hang up, I stopped him.

"Wait! Bryan was just talking to me about something. So my mom could have the baby any day now and once she has the baby they're going to go on their honeymoon. So Bryan asked me if I could watch the kids. Would you be interested in helping?" I decided to ask him instead of waiting last minute.

"Of course! And it'll be good practice for when we become parents, if you know what I mean" he says, and even though I can't physically see him, I could mentally see him smirking right now.

"Back off. I'm not ready for kids yet!" I laughed, quickly handing up. "WOAH! WHAT'D YOU SAY?!" Bryan yelled.

I rolled my eyes laughing, "nothing"

FEW HOURS DURING THE PARTY

It's almost time for us to perform a song. Me and Ross decided to write a song just for them. We named it, 'you can come to me'

I'll admit, I'm a little shaky about performing it but at least I have the boy I love to be with me every step of the way.

"NOW LETS WELCOME THE CUTEST COUPLE OF ALL, AIMEE AND ROSS!" The DJ yelled into the microphone. I just laughed rolling my eyes.

"Before we start performing, I wanted to share a little speech with you. This wasn't planned and it's practically a surprised speech but I could resist myself" I say, into the microphone looking at Ross smiling.

He grabs my hand, intertwining our fingers together, nodding saying 'everything will be okay'

I nod and looked at the crowd. "I honestly don't know where to start!" I chuckled. "But I love my mom more than anything. I'll admit, I was a little scared when my mom met Bryan. I'll admit, I wasn't comfortable with it and the reason for that is because I had a bad relationship with my birth father who I hate to call my father. As most of you know, I had bad experience with him. He abused us. He raped us. He did everything to ruin our lives and who would ever known that we'd be happy again? That my MOM would ever be happy again? Whenever my mom is with Bryan, she has this huge smile on her face! She forgets all of the negatives and think of the positives. I honestly don't know how she's being so brave. I don't think I could ever love someone again after being abused or raped. When I first met Bryan, I knew he was right for my mom. He showed that he truly cares and loves her. Not only her but me and Connor as well. I wish he was my birth father to begin with because I'd never regret having a father like him. He's sweet, caring, and this past year, he helped me through so much. He helped me with family, with boyfriends, with breakups, etc. Even though he's not my birth father, I'm still going to call him dad because he's the best dad anyone could ever have. He treats me like his princess. Like his own daughter! And to top it all off, I'm excited to call April and crystal officially my sisters! I realized things happen for a reason and I'm sure am thankful for everything that happened. I never thought I'd say that ever. Thanks for everything you did dad. This is a little song me and Ross wrote called 'you can come to me'" I say smiling as Ross started strumming his guitar. Everyone had tears in their eyes and I sure did too. I don't know what I'd do without Bryan are the girls.

After we finish singing, I heard a scream. I looked in the crowd to see my mom freaking out. Ross puts his guitar down and we run towards her. "What happened?!" I panicked.

"M-My water broke!" She says, screaming in pain and my eyes widened as I looked at Ross. "Take the girls Aimee and meet us at the hospital!" Bryan picnicked, running outside with my mom.

"How? I don't have a car!!" I say, looking towards Ross. "I'll drive you!" Stormie volunteers. I grab the cars and me, the girls, Connor, and the Lynch's including Ellington all rushed to the hospital to start this journey.
