i made some szatchuan sauce and it's so good it made me cry

im bringing it to a school dance and my friend is bringing chicken nuges and instead of dancing we're gonna stuff our faces

it should be fun

but also it's super dumb bc im just wearing some dress my mom gave me that she wore when she was in high school and other girls are showing up in full on cinderella ball gowns like

coule you m a y b e tone it down a bit

im worried i'll show up and people will b like "haha look she cant afford a fancy dress like us" and idk honestly

i just want advice or reassurance from friends that i'm enough
