These Words Scream

Losing two beautiful souls

He tried to get help
He tried to explain
But no one could understand his pain
So instead he hid it with a fake smile
Occasionally some would see his scars and ask, but he quickly answered and blamed it on the cat
He finally met someone who understood because she was going through it too
They understood each other's pain
And when life was getting tough
They called each other up
And talked for hours

Without her, his life was never the same
He started again, cutting himself until his arm was stained red
He couldn't sleep at night, and asked himself why
Why he let her go, why she didnt come back

She couldn't live life without him
She missed every waking moment and also her dreams
She needed him more than she thought
Before she knew it her stomach was oozing blood
Not from an accident like one might think
But from a razor because she couldn't bear the pain any longer

One night she had enough
She called him up
And they talked for hours
She was relieved because he needed her to
But scared because she didn't want to lose him again

They helped each other more
Just like they had before
Now it was different
They understood that they needed each other
If only it was easy
Seeing each other each day
But they were so far apart
So nighttime was their only chance they got to be together

Now they need each other more than ever
Because she
Who once the strong on had collapsed
She needs him and he doesn't know what to do
He tried to talk her out of it
But it doesn't work
Her mind is set on what she knows she must do

He tried to stop her but she was done
Without her life was an empty shell
Like a time bomb waiting to explode
He didn't know what to do without her
Once again he started, hoping life would get better
Before long he couldn't stand it anymore
He missed her and needed her and wanted her
Things were getting worse and no one could help
He had enough and like her was gone

The world had lost two beautiful souls
Because of one who couldn't shut their mouth
Because one had to point out their flaws

To thinking that death is the only answer to their problem
