On the first day of the Spring Competition, Min and I followed grandfather and Uncle Zedongto meet several of grandfather's friends and business acquaintances. Since I was competing in the archery and painting rounds, I had to wait until the third and fifth day until those competitions to take place. Min competition doesn't start until the second and sixth day.

While following behind grandfather, I suddenly spot my third and eldest uncle under a tent. I also saw several of my cousins preparing for the hunting competition. When my third uncle noticed me, I noticed his glare before he blatantly turning his head - ignoring my existence. I felt cold as I saw his true nature for the first time. Moreover, my eldest uncle and cousins all looked at me with the same resentment - like I was the one who had done them wrong.

"What is that about? Who are those people?"

Min was beside me had noticed and saw the glares from the distant.

"They are from the Zhou family..."

"Zhou?"

Min knew my previous surname name was Zhou. Min also knew I had given up my father lineage in order to follow grandfather. This wasn't a secret. Many people in the Jing Province knew - my grandfather never hid my backgrounds. He never cared for anyone backgrounds to begin with - the most important thing is your character.

"Ehh..." Min said under his breath. "Maybe I should have join the hunting competition"

I laughed softly and bumped into his arm.

"You don't like to hunt bunnies. They're not challenging for you Min-ge"

"Who said I would be hunting bunnies" He gave me a playful, sly smile.

I gave another soft laugh before looking back at the large hunting grounds. All around the field, large tents were set up - each tent had the family emblem flag flying proudly at the top.

"Lan-Lan!"

My face immediately scowled while Min chuckled beside me, seeing my soured expression. The voice, I knew belong to Bai Sun. The young teen is now 15 but still as annoying as ever. Ever since our first meeting, he kept calling me Lan-Lan as if we're friends.

Facing the young master of the Bai family, I saw him sitting on a regal white horse, dressed as usual in white with a long cross bow in his back. Many girls were fascinated by this extremely handsome boy with the charming smile, but for me, all I felt was annoyance.

"Sun-ge"

I had long noticed the extremely pretty girl in pink. She had been right beside Bai Sun as she sat on her own pretty white horse. What's more, there were a lot of pretty girls and boys in their horses and cross bow, all surrounded Bai Sun. It was like the guy had his own harem of beautiful people. The sight was a bit disturbing.

"Who is she Sun-ge?"

The main girl, whom I later learned was Bai Xiao Xue, was looking at Bai Sun and glancing at me with obvious dislike. She glared more when Bai Sun ignored her while keeping his smiling eyes on me.

"Mei-mei" Min chuckled as he whispered to me. "Looks like you have trouble heading your way"

I nudged at Min's arm, not caring for his jokes.

"Lan-Lan, you look cute today"

I knew the boy was teasing me, and worst, his tease made all the girls around him jealous.

"Lan-Lan?" Xiao Xue glares were like sharp knifes, ready to kill.

"Lan-Lan is only for me to call" Bai Sun said coldly, turning to Xiao Xue. "You can call her sister-in-law"

Min burst out laughing while the girls were all stunned.

"Young Master Bai Sun" I said coldly, controlling my anger. "Please do not joke. To destroy a young lady reputation is no small matter"

I glared at Min, telling him with my eyes to defend his female cousin honor.

"Sun, you should stop" Min sighed and finally looks at Bai Sun with seriousness. "Go back to your tent. The competition is starting soon"

Bai Sun ignored Min and continue to smile at me.

"I will win the championship for you Lan-Lan"

I was speechless and watched wryly as the guy rode off. The girls, of course, quickly followed him only after glaring at me. Bai Xiao Xue only left after warning me to stay away from Bai Sun. Again, I was speechless and watched the ridiculous bunch of people come and go as they pleased. When I realized Min was holding onto his stomach with a hand to his mouth, I glared at him. I dared him to laugh, but he looks up the sky and faint ignorance.

"Min-ge, we should practice Go"

"W_ what?" Min was suddenly nervous. "I'm fine, I don't need to_"

"Let's go practice Min-ge" I walked off without letting him finish. "We need to make sure you do well"

Min sighed and followed after me with a defeated expression, like someone kicked his puppy.
