Curse Fourteen: Loophole

NAKAPANGALUMBABA lamang ako sa aking study table habang nakatingin sa labas ng classroom kung nasaan ako. Dark clouds are still surrounding the whole place and it seems like the sun doesn't have any interest of showing its glory and warmth.

Thunders are rolling simultaneously and it seems like there's a typhoon coming. I immediately closed my Lenses when I heard footsteps outside. The students are now coming.

One of them walked near me. I felt a guy's hand right in front of my face waiving.

"Hello!" Napabalik ako sa ulirat nang marinig ko ang boses ng tila bata sa aking tabi. Nope, she's not literally a kid. Mukhang isip bata pwede pa.

I tilted my head, acknowledging her presence. At least may isang gustong makipag-usap sa akin.

"My name's Archiliah. Ikaw? What's your name?" She asked me. She has a lovely name.

"Anastasia. But you can call me, Asia." I introduced myself. My heart says she's not harmful. Well, my initial assessment could be.

"Wow, your name's cool. By the way, you better be careful pala, huh. I'm not actually thankful that the attention was not on me anymore but you should be extra careful from now on." She warned me.

"Huh? Why is that?" I asked her with curiousity. Pero may ideya na ako kung ano iyon.

Archiliah hesitated at first. I felt her movement. She roamed around from left to right before she come near me and tried to whisper something.

Medyo natigilan lang ako ng bahagya dahil bigla bigla itong gumanon sa akin pero I still let her say something to me.

"They treat you now as the most vulnerable person in this room. It seems like you're a transferee here so I need to let you know." She replied pero hindi iyon ang tinutukoy ko sa tanong ko.

Umiling ako sa kanya. "I've already expected that. What I would want to know is the word attention you used. The attention had drawn at me. You mean to say..."
