THE breeze of cold air came across on my skin and it gave a natural cool feeling that caused my lips to smile genuinely. I yawned. I stretched both of my arms and neck then my face cringed when a light from the morning sun filled my room.

Napadilat ako nang matanaw ko ang magandang bukang-liwayway na hatid ng araw mula sa labas. Ang pinagsamang malamig at mainit na araw ang una kong naramdaman at kakaiba ang pakiramdam no'n para sa'kin. Napakapresko. Natural na pakiramdam galing sa kalikasan.

I decided to pull myself up out of my reverie. It's another day ahead and I have ton of things to do. I combed my hair with my hands and I saw myself in a mirror while doing that. There's a huge mirror placed in front of my bed because sometimes, I always wanted to see myself if I'm still alive or not. That the only person that I want to see when I open my eyes is myself. I tilted my head on the right side and put all my hair on that side as well.

Ay oh, ang ganda lang! Just woke up look.

I giggled when I thought of that. Like hello, totoo kasi. Walang halong humbleness.

I posed a couple of seconds. I'll tilt my face on the other side then pout my lips while I'm looking seductively in the mirror. Or I'll put my hand on top of my hair and pose as if I'm fixing it while I'm winking.

Gosh, so perfect. Iba ka, Anastasia. Kay ganda mong nilalang, girl.

Nagulantang ako at biglang napatigil sa ginagawa ko ritong kababalaghan nang biglang bumukas ang pinto ng aking kwarto. Unang pinasok niyon si Chizo na siyang-siya na tumakbo at tumalon sa aking kama at ito'y nakipaglaro sa akin. Chizo kisses my face and he's pushing himself on my lap while he's doing that.

I couldn't help myself but to smile and giggle. This sweet little dog! Ang galing talagang maglambing kahit kailan.

"Chizo, you're making me jealous. Stop hugging my Bella Cieco." My heart pounded like a thump of horses upon hearing his voice.

Napatingin kaagad ako sa kaniyang gawi at doon ko nakita ang maskuladong naka-pink apron. Take note, pink. Napalunok ako bigla. Ba't may epekto na sa akin ang mga lalaking nagsusuot ng damit na kulay pink? Pink is hot for Alastair. I swear!

"Pati ba naman aso?" I reacted ridiculously on his statement. "He's my first love. My first of everything you know." I added.

"And now I'm truly jealous." Busangot na mukha na talaga ang sinalubong sa akin ng binata. Bilis magpalit ng mood. Kasing bilis magdamit ng brief.

I just laughed at him and placed Chizo on my right side then I widely spread my arms. Inviting him to come over.

Mabilis naman na inilapag sa lamesa sa gilid ni Alastair ang hawak nitong breakfast at dinamba ako nito sa kama. He hugged me too tight.

"I miss you." he whispered. Hindi ko mapigilan ang hindi mapangisi and my eyes literally moved three-hundred and sixty degrees. Alam niyo na paano ako kiligin?

"Parang kang tsimang." Hindi ko napigilang iwika tapos ay hinigpitan ko rin ang yakap sa kanya. "You just stepped outside to cook for a while and you already missed me?"

I felt his nod on my neck then he faced me with his serious look. "Yes, I've always wanted to be with you all day. I kinda misses you whenever my eyes couldn't reach you."

Napanguso ako sa sinabi niya sabay asar, "Napaka-clingy mo! Ayoko sa lalaking clingy, Alastair." Pero kilig na kilig ako, huwag kayo.

"You should get used to it then. Start liking me as a clingy person. I won't let you go anyway. I won't let that happen."
