Shivaay fell on his knees in front of Anika and Malika was going to held him up. He began sobbing bitterly in front of her.

"What can I do to win you back Anika?" He asked. Anika found it hard to resist him. He seemed so vulnerable that it was difficult for her to say no.

"Please stand up." Anika pleaded him and he listened to her. He stood up and she held his hands. "My lawyer said that I'll have to live six months with you before the divorce to be accepted." She then announced and Shivaay was happy. She saw the little twinkle in his eyes coming back to life. "But it's just a formality.." Anika said and Shivaay looked at her dumbfounded. She said this with not even a slight pain in her voice. She was cold.

"Let me a chance Anika.. please.. Don't be cold..like..like me... please let me make everything right..." He stuttered and Anika looked behind herself to see Karan and Malika. Malika had tears in her eyes on seeing Shivaay like this. She now knew that Shivaay loved Anika truly, madly, deeply but he hurt her so much that Anika wasn't seeing his love now. Karan on the other hand smiled at his friend, indirectly telling that everything would be right.

He had the feeling that they were perfect together and that these six months would be a great way for Shivaay to win his wife back. Karan walked to her and pulled her into a warm hug.

"You will be strong Anika. You will face him. You will calm the aching in your heart. You have to take things like they come. If you're too hurt, you still can back off okay. I will always support you my friend." Karan kissed her forehead and Anika smiled, feeling his support. Shivaay was burning with jealousy and turned away, hanging his head down in shame.

"Karan I think we shall leave now." Malika came to Shivaay's rescue as she saw him hurt by 'AniRan's closeness.

"Bye Anu." Both said and Anika hugged them goodbye.

"Where do you want to sleep Anika?" Shivaay asked and Anika replied.

"In my room, I mean.. we both have to live as married couple so well..." She trailed off and Pinky who was silent for a while finally spoke.

"How can you be so shameless, I shall throw you out of this house." Pinky said and grabbed Anika when a very weak Shivaay came in between.

"I don't want you to be rude towards my wife mum. I swear to God if you don't open both your heart and mind to accept her, I will leave this house. I love you mum but you have to accept someday that what you think is not always right. Anika has done everything possible for this family and I won't tolerate none of you to open your mouth to criticize her." Shivaay scolded his own mum and both women looked at him taken aback. He then took his wife's hand and led her to their room. As soon a he got there, he held his chest and collapsed in her arms.

"Shivaay I wanted to pay for the new fridge but I need your signature.. can you please write it down for me?" Pinky smirked evilly as her son signed the papers stating that he wanted an immediate divorce from Anika.
