Chapter 16: That Insanely Cute Guy

I woke up on my bed.

I looked at the time. 9:24AM

I played Saturday by Rebecca Black on my phone and got up.

I stretched and yawned.

Then I just randomly danced to the whole song. My dancing is so weird. When you see me at the club, I would be awkward dancing in the corner.

I walked outside off my room and went to get breakfast.

I poured Lucky Charms in my bowl with milk.

I loved Lucky Charms because of the delicious marshmallows. <3

Then, I heard Zeke's footsteps coming toward me.

"Hey Zekiel!" I said quietly while I petted him.

He licked my hand.

"Okay, go boy! I have to finish eating." I smiled.

He walked away.

Finally, I finished my cereal. I headed over to the sink to wash my bowl.

"Jewel?"

I turned around. "Yeah?"

It was Avia in her PJ's while rubbing her eyes.

"Can you make me pancakes?"

I scoffed. "Why don't you ask Mom?"

"She's still sleeping."

"Nahh.." I finished washing my bowl and dried my hands on my towel.

"URGGHH.." Avia stomped out.

I went to my bedroom and closed the door.

I grabbed my phone from the corner and I texted Luke.

JumpingJewel: You up yet?

I waited for a few minutes. He's probably still sleeping.

I went on Instagram and followed people and liked photos.

My phone died when I was in the middle of watching a Youtube video. Darn it!

I charged my phone.

I'm so bored right now... Haha Oh right. I need to brush my teeth.

I brushed my teeth in the bathroom and put my hair up into a ponytail

I walked out and saw my family.

"Hey." I said.

"Jewel!" Dad said loudly.

"Hi!"

"Get your swimsuit! We're going swimming." Dad held the camera.

"B-But I don't know how to swim."

At first I felt like swimming was useless so I didn't get any swimming lessons.

"But I don't have a swim suit remember?" I complained.

"Didn't you have that green flowery swimsuit?"

"Dad! I wore it when I was 12! And we threw it away! Remember?"

"Nope." He chuckled.

"HUN, WE HAVE TO GET JEWEL A NEW SWIMSUIT!!!" He shouted.

"Okay!!" Mom yelled from upstairs.

"Let's go."
