Chapter 22: MOVING?!

{Sunday}

James and I hung out together on the pier.

We ate ice cream again and we were admiring the view of the river.

"Having a great time?" James asked me.

"Yes I'm having an awesome time." I smiled.

We finished our ice creams.

I looked up at the clouds. They were turning gray.

"James," I tapped him pointing at the clouds, "look! I think it's going to rain."

He looked up.

"What are we gonna do?"

Then it started to pour. We had no umbrellas. I didn't have a hood. I wore a tank top!

James took off his black hoodie with a picture of Charlie Brown and put it on me.

"Hey! Aren't you going to be cold too?"

"Nah, I'm okay." He smiled.

"You sure?"

"Yeah! Don't worry about me!"

We started walking. He held my hand. My heart fluttered.

I smiled.

James walked me home and it was still raining.

We stood outside the gate.

"Thanks for walking me home."

"Haha don't mention it" he smiled.

I stared at our shoes.

I felt lips touch my cheek.

I looked up. James grinned.

I blushed madly and i looked away.

I bit my lip.

He held my chin and turned it towards him.

He came closer and closer....

Then, he let go, smiled ,and pulled back.

OMG stop teasing me!!!!

"I'll see you later, Jewel." He grinned with the dimples showing.

I blushed even more.

I watched him leave my driveway.

I walked inside the house.

"I'M HOME!!!!" I yelled.

Dad came in with the camera.

"Hey! Look it's Gemtard!!"

I waved and smiled awkwardly.

Zeke runs in and tackles me to the ground.

"Holy!" I said.

He licked my face.

"Get off!" I pushed him away playfully.

He ran upstairs.

I stood up and brushed myself.

"Gemtard has been going out recently. 'With who?' You ask? Gemtard tell them." He demanded.

I look at Dad.

"No." I tried to walk pass him but he gets in the way.

"It's James! She's going out with James! The one we embarrassed her about! I'm pretty sure it's the vlogs that helped her get to James."

I glared at Dad.

He zoomed up the camera.

"Whenever she glares, her eyes get big."

I'm pretty sure he was zooming up in my eye.

"I'm zooming in your eye."

Yup.

"Bye." I left to go to my room

Mom comes in my room.

"Hey sweetheart."

"Hi Mom."

I was on my laptop researching for Chinchillas.

Mom sat on my bed.

"Jewel, look here."

I turned my desk chair and faced towards her.

"Your Dad and I have decided to move to Idaho."

"Hold up.. MOVE?!!"

"Yeah. So, I want you to start packing. I'll bring boxes."

She left my room.

I grabbed my phone and texted Luke.

JumpingJewel: LUKE IM MOVING TO IDAHO WAHHHH :'( I won't see you again!!

Luke replied a minute later.

AmesIsLame: WHAT?! Okay. We're gonna have a long distance relationship.

JumpingJewel: LOLL But srsly I'm gonna miss u.

AmesIsLame: I'm gonna miss u too *virtual hug*

JumpingJewel: *virtual hug*

Mom came in with four boxes.

"Tell me if you need more boxes. By the way, Jewel, get off your phone."

"I'm just texting Luke about us moving."

"Okay but when I leave this room, you aren't allowed to look at your phone."

I grabbed my phone and started texting.

AmesIsLame: how about we run away?!

JumpingJewel: haha lol I wish I can but ill miss my family. Btw I have to pack now so I gtg baiiiii

AmesIsLame: Don't pack nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Mom left my room and I out my phone down and start packing.

Since I'm gonna hang out with James on Wednesday, I'm gonna tell him I'm moving.
