Chapter 29: Sleepover!!

I brought my stuff over to Lauren's house and Lauren told me to sleep on her couch.

I bought my teddy bear and my comfy blue and green pillow.

I changed into my pajamas which were green and has pandas on it.

"I like your pajamas." Lauren grinned.

"Thanks." I smiled.

Lauren wore yellow pajamas shorts with a plain grey t shirt.

Lauren went back to play her league while I was lying on her bed.

"Where's your dad? I haven't seen him. Is he still at work?"

"Nah he's has a business trip and he's in New York."

*silence*

Then I started sing Empire State of Mind.

"New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There's nothin' you can't do. Now you're in New York! These streets will make you feel brand new! Big lights will inspire you. Let's hear it for New York, New York,

New York!

One hand in the air for the big city. Street lights, big dreams, all lookin' pretty. No place in the world that could compare. Put your lighters in the air. Everybody say 'yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah'"

"YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAHHHHHHH!!!!" Lauren shouted in a manly voice while pressing on the keys on the keys board really hard.

I laughed so hard.

"New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There's nothin' you can't do. Now you're in New York! These streets will make you feel brand new!

Then Lauren scream/sang with me, "Big lights will inspire you. Let's hear it for New York, New York,

New York!"

I laughed so so hard I couldn't breathe and I rolled off her bed onto the ground!

I kept on laughing.

Then there were loud knocks on the door.

I felt my cheeks warm from the laughing.

The door opened.

"Hey! Who was singing?!" Xander asked.

Lauren didn't reply still focused on her game.

I tried to get up but my head hit the side of her bed and I laughed.

I stood up again feeling a bit dizzy and I wobbled a bit. "Woah! Hehe.."

I finally got my balance.

I sat on Lauren's bed, cheekily smiling at him.

"You are sleeping over?"

"Got a problem?!"

"No.." He shut the door. Then opened it quickly.

"Stop your singing and screaming!" He glared at me.

He shut the door.

But I was the one singing normally and Lauren was the insane one.

I lied on the bed and sighed.

"What do you want to do?"

I thought for a while.

"Let's... watch a movie!"

We walked to the living room and she gave me choices of movies to watch.

I decided to watch the Avengers <3

We watched the movie on her big flat screen tv :3

We prepared 3 bags of popcorn. The leftover bag just in case we want more.

Lauren lied down on the couch taking up all the space and was eating popcorn.

"Um.. Thanks for hogging up the couch." I muttered.

"Huh?" She asked me.

"Never mind." I said.

I sat in front of the couch and leaned back. (There were no other couches or chairs to sit on)

Around the intro, Xander wanted to watch the movie too.

He grabbed the extra popcorn and sat down next to me.

At the war scene, Lauren said she was going to sleep.

She left me and Xander alone.

Xander now took up the couch. *sigh*

I felt really sleepy at the part where Iron Man flies to space.

I passed out.

Xander's POV

The movie ended. I turned off the T.V.

I got up and but my popcorn bag in the trash. I was about to walk back to my room, but I noticed Jewel sitting there.

I looked at her. She was sleeping while sitting.

I sighed. I can't leave her like that.

I took the bag out of her hands and put it in the trash.

I walked back and carried her and I wanted to plop her on the couch.

But she'll wake up and hit me. And also she looks cute when she sleeps.

I carefully put her down on the couch. I put a blanket over her. I sat down and studied her face.

She has a fair skin but like 2 pimples that aren't noticable. She has long eyelashes and a cute nose. Her plump lips...

I went closer to her face. I wanted to kiss those lips.

Then suddenly she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me.

Her hair kind of smelled nice.

"No.. Don't go. Stay with me..." Jewel said.

"Um.. Are you sleeping?" I whispered.

She didn't reply.

I tried to slowly unwrap her arms but then she hugged me tighter.

"Please.."

I felt tired and I fell asleep in her arms.

[How cute is that? :D]

I woke up at dawn. Jewel isn't hugging me anymore. I went back to my room and lied on my bed.

"Who was she talking to in her dream?"

I asked myself this over and over until I fell asleep.
