As I approached I could hear the chatter of the guys as they all sat around the empty pool. The closer I got the more I could make out what was being said. All of them so caught up in their conversation they didn't realize I'd arrived.

"No" Adam said sternly, without the slightest hesitation.

"But," Matty tried to reason however Adam cut him off.

"This is your idea. You do it. You're not dragging my girlfriend into this death wish you've created." He was protecting me and I couldn't help but look at him with adoration for it.

"I get it. You guys all think this isn't gonna work but I promise you it will. I'd have Chelsea do it with me but she won't speak to me." Matty continued even though it was clear how Adam felt on the topic.

"Hm, wonder why." Adam said, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he tilted his head to the side. Shaking his head a silence fell over the group. Matty going off to attempt to skateboard and loosing his footing. As I approached, I knelt down to wrap my arms around Adam's neck from behind. I could feel him jump slightly before he realized it was me.

"Hey, babe." He smiled, turning to kiss me.  Moving to sit beside him I leaned on him slightly, just enjoying being close to him.

"What's everyone talking about?" I pushed with a smile as I could feel the tension. Nothing major but it was there.

"Nothing." Adams face going hard as I caught the look he flashed in Matty's direction. Coming over to lean on the edge of the pool he rested his head on his arms with a smile.

"What?" I asked laughing at his childish behavior.

"Don't-" Adam tried but Matty went on regardless.

"How would you feel about robbing the convenient store on tenth with me?" Again a cheesy grin spreading across his face. The idea so ridiculous I couldn't help but start laughing. Feeling everyone's eyes on me and noting the smile  no longer on Mattys face, I stopped.

"Wait, you're serious?" I asked.

"Yea, I've got a gun and a couple bandanas. How hard can it be? We could use the money." He said so casual like this was a stroll in the park. I was trying to think of something to say but was kind of speechless.

"I know you and Hann are trying to get out of here. This could help." Matty tried to persuade me when I hadn't even said no yet.

"Fuck you, Matty. Don't guilt her into this. If she doesn't want to she doesn't have to. Hell, why don't you and George do it?" Adam said, nodding at George before being the bottle he held to his lips.

"Hell no, Im the getaway driver that's it." George held his hands up in defense.

"Don't even look at me, Hann." Ross said knowing he'd be asked next.

"Oh c'mon. It won't be that bad. Well hide our faces. You've seen the guy who owns the place you could shout at him and he'll have a heart attack." Matty defended his idea. The whole time I battled with myself on whether or not this was something we could pull off.

"I'm in." I said and everyone's heads snapped in my direction.

"What?!" Adam asked while Matty climbed out of the pool. Pulling me up he wrapped me in a hug before taking my hand to twirl me around.
