Yes I was the mafia leaders daughter. Did that define who I was? Hell. No. I had escaped the haunting life when I went to college and I was glad my father supported for me to get away from it. The danger it brought upon me was too much for either of us to bear. I was finally living normally. God that was a good word to know you were. I had my best friends Becca and Alicia (my roommate) by my side and we were the best trio I had come to know.

We weren’t outcasts, but we weren’t the most popular girls at the university. Now Becca on the other hand also had big money, nice car, and every guy fell at her feet with her model looks. She even modeled for Cosmo every once in a while. Alicia had met her in their psychology class Freshman year and they had strangely clicked. Alicia was a much simpler friend. She had the looks to kill, but she rarely used them to her advantage like Becca. Her southern accent drawing in guys, just to shut them out with a laugh in their face.

Junior year had started like any other year and we were doing great. Until I had to wake up that fucking Friday morning.
