Chapter 14

I woke up to Ethan shaking me.

"Elena" He whines. "Wake up." 

I groan. "Yes, Ethan?"

"I smell food but I don't want to go upstairs alone." He rubs the back of his neck. (A/N: is that how you describe it? idk)

I chuckle. "You're impossible." 

"I know." He smiles. 

"At least you woke me up because of food this time." I say, making my way upstairs.

He shrugs. 

"Good morning sweet pea." My mom says once we get upstairs. She comes over and hugs me.

"Morning mom." I giggle.

"Good morning Ethan." She hugs Ethan as well.

"Good morning." He smiles.

"Did you guys sleep well?" She asks, walking back over to the stove.

Ethan and I nod.

"Did you sleep in the guest room, Ethan?" My mom asks, flipping a pancake.

"I accidentally fell asleep in Elena's room." He replies.

She smiles. "Elena's bed is very comfortable."

"Yeah." Ethan laughs. "It is."

"Are the twins awake?" I ask.

My mom shakes her head. "It's only 9am, hunny. Of course not."

I smirk. "Be right back."

I run upstairs into Mikey's room first. 

"Get up! Mom's making breakfast!" I shout, smothering Mikey with kisses.

"What the fuck, Eleanor?" Mikey groans.

"What your language." 

He groans once more. "Whatever. I'll be down soon."

After I know Mikey is fully awake, I go into Maddie's room.

"Wake up, Mads!" I jump on her bed. 

She groans. 

"Mom is making pancakes." 

Maddie's eyes shoot right open and she practically rolls out of bed. 

"I thought so." I laugh.

"You're lucky I love you...and pancakes or else I would have murdered you." She laughs.

"You wouldn't hurt a fly."

Maddie raises an eyebrow. "You sure about that, sis?" 

I nod. "I remember when we were playing Minecraft together, you started crying because I killed a pig." 

She sighs. "You'd be surprised about what I could do now."

I give her a confused look.

"She punched a girl a couple weeks ago." Mikey says, appearing in the doorway.

Maddie nods. 

"Madison Belle Walsh!" I hiss.

She raises her hands in defense. "She was talking about how you're only friends with Mark because he's YouTube famous."

I smile. "Thanks for defending me but, I don't care about what she says."

"I would have done it too, you know. You're an amazing sister." Mikey smiles.

Maddie agrees. 

"You guys are the best." I smile.

"Can we go get food now? I'm starving." Maddie laughs.

"Sounds good to me." I say, making my way downstairs.
