Chapter 24

TWO WEEKS LATER

"Hey baby sis!" Josh chirped though the phone.

"Hi Josh." I giggle.

"How are things?" He asks. 

"Things are good, I suppose." I reply.

"I've got a question for you." 

"Ask away." 

"How would you feel if I moved out to L.A? I really want to go to school where you went."

I gasp. "I would love it if you moved here, Josh." 

"What if we get a place together, too?" I can hear the smile in Josh's voice. 

"Yeah! That would be great! I only live in a one bedroom apartment right now, though." 

"How about we make it work in your apartment for now until we find a place or something." Josh suggests.

"I can't believe you're moving out here." I squeal. 

"Me too, baby sis." 

"I'll look into getting a pullout couch, then? You can have my bed and I'll sleep on the pullout." I suggest.

"No, you have your bed and I'll sleep on the pullout. It's just temporarily." 

"Fine." I give in. 

"I'll bet out there once I find a job, okay?" Josh says.

"Okay. I'm looking for a job, too." 

"Good. I'll talk to you later, okay?" 

"Yeah. Bye. I love you."

"I love you too, Lana." Josh quickly replies before he hangs up the phone.

I smile at the old name Josh used to call me. It brings back so many memories. 

Before I do anything else, I create a group chat between Tyler, Mark, Ethan, Kathryn and Amy to save time texting everyone individually.

Elena:
GUYS I HAVE SOME NEWS

Mark:
must be important if you created a group chat

Amy:
do indeed tell

Ethan:
what

Elena:
my brother is moving to L.A!!!

Ethan:
really? that's so cool! 

Mark:
that's great!

Amy:
we're going to have another walsh around then. 

Tyler:
brace yourselves since it's another walsh

Elena:
fuck off. my brother is cool

Ethan:
yeah, josh is one cool dude.

Kathryn:
i can't wait to meet him!

Elena:
we're also moving once we find a place together...

Amy:
nooo! 

Kathryn:
ugh nooo

Ethan:
MOVE INTO MY APARTMENT BUIDLING

Elena:
maybe idk

Mark:
why? so you guys can fuck?

Tyler:
damn

Ethan:
fuck you mark

Elena:
....i mean i wouldn't object to it though ;))

Amy:
oooo ethans gunna get laid sooooon

Kathryn:
use protection

Ethan:
god damn elena

Mark:
yeah, use protection. we don't need any little ethan/elena's running around

Elena:
yeah god FORBID i get pregnant 

Tyler:
i hate group chats

Tyler left the chat

Ethan:
elena i'm coming over 

Mark:
listen for moans amy

Amy:
uh-oh 

Ethan:
it's not like that guys. 

Kathryn:
why is tyler in such a bad mood

Mark:
i'll talk to him.

Elena:
well i'm leaving too. text me if y'all need anything
