Zion Jamal Anderson

I sent Jaymee another text. She read but didn't respond. What if she was with that nigga? I called her, waiting for her to pick up. I relaxed my face so that she would think this was a friendly call.

"Yes, Zion?" She said.

I smiled as I took in her appearance. She had her hair pulled up into a bun with no make up on.

"Did you call me to stare in my face?" She asked.

"Maybe." I smirked.

"Bye." She rolled her eyes.

"Don't hang up! My bad." I chuckled.

She set the phone down before going back to wash the dishes. She was definitely at her place.

"I missed you, Jay." I said.

"I'm sure." She shook her head.

"Who was dude?" I asked.

"I knew that's what you called for." She laughed.

"That doesn't answer my question."  I said.

"He's a friend." She shrugged.

"You fucking this friend?" I asked.

"No. Not yet at least." She said.

"You not stupid." I laughed.

"I mean, he's nice. I was thinking about it." She said.

"Jaymee, stop playing with me." I growled.

"Whatever, Zion." She waved me off.

"Let me find out you slept with him." I said.

"You can't do anything about it. This is my body." She said.

"I could remember many nights when it was mine." I said, biting my lip.

"Bye Zion. You called me to bullshit." She sighed.

I was going to say something but she hung up on me. She had never done this before. I grabbed my keys off the table and headed towards the door.

"Hey, where you going?" Princess asked as she hit the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm going out. What's up?" I asked.

"We haven't been out in a while. I thought we could hang out tonight." She shrugged.

"We just went out." I sighed.

"I know but I mean to have fun. Like when we first met." She said.

I nodded.

"How about tonight?" I asked.

She smiled and nodded.

"Okay." She said.

I looked at the keys in my hand then back at her.

"I can go out later." I said.

I threw them on the table and followed her into our bedroom. I can see Jaymee whenever but I was definitely was going to see her.
