(Miss Katie's POV)

"Bye guys have a good day at school!" I call form the front porch, as the bright yellow school bus drives away, it's Thursday today and kids have Friday off school I plan on savouring the quiet.

(Matilda's POV)

I try to drown out the sound of the kids on the bus by turning my music up, its loud enough that my whole body could vibrate,

wouldn't that be something.

I lean my head against the window and watch the house wiz past in a colourful blur, I sigh and run over my schedule in my head one last time.

Lunch

I stopped taking gym about a year ago, I would have panic attacks because I was so scared about being bullied. It became a serious problem. Ask anyone, the bus lurches to a stop and the kids file out of the seats, nobody is in a big rush to get to school, who would be. As the kids shuffle off the bus, I pull my earbuds out of my ears, and shove them in my backpack. As I step of the buss I see Nick and Indigo waiting for me,

"Tilly!" Nick says,

"Nicolas, Morning Indigo!" I say,

"Hi Mal how was your dance competition?" She asks in sign. I've known Indigo since grade 3, she's deaf, so is her mom and Dad, it's hereditary, in her family.

"Good, how was your weekend?" I say in sign and aloud, so Nick can follow along.

"Fantastic!" She signs with a smirk, the school bell rings and all the students standing out front, start walking towards the front door,

"We should probably, get going now" I suggest, taking a step towards the door, Indigo taps me on the shoulder, I spin on my heel

"We have to get to class! What is so important?"

"Mal is that Tom Hiddleston?!"

There he is leaning up against his sleek black car, his arms folded across his chest, sunglasses over his eyes,

"Ya I guess it is." I say as I walk away.
