Dev's POV

I used to wonder why sister and brother in laws of a groom are called saala and saali in Hindi. I got my answers today when Elena and Sourabh kept calling so many times in between our date!

I am no monster and I won't eat up their sister and uff their highly raised curiosity ... can't the two of them simply curb it till Sona returns back home but nahi these two have to call every second to get the details ... If they won't leave their sister for a second how the hell will they get their 'details' ... So this calls for another

Dil me mere hai Dard-e-Dixit
Dard-e-Dixit Dard-e-Dixit
Dil me mere hai Dard- e - Dixit
Dard-e- Dixit Dard-e-Dixit!!

"Ele mai ghar aake baat karti hu na... My phone is going to be dead now" Sona said and all I could think was thank god its battery is getting over otherwise I would have thrown her phone now.

"Do you have a charger?" She asked and I nodded in a no frantically. I fear that had the speed of my nodding been a little more my head would have got detached from its position.

"I'm sorry about my siblings ... They are just..." She said with embarrassment plastered on her face

"... Just saala ... I mean my saala and saali" I controlled my slipping tongue.

She raised her eyebrows a bit and sensing DANGER I cleverly changed the topic.

"Rains!! Uhhh... Mumbai rains!! There is a warning of heavy rains" I was almost shouting at the top of my voice to divert her attention

"Ok I got it ... Chila kyu rahe ho?" When she asked about my screaming I lowered my pitch

There was so much to say, so much to hear from her but the time seemed running away from my hands and my words well they weren't falling into the right places.

We were sitting outside my parent's villa, a house where I have rarely been visiting after the mishap that changed my life forever. Every nook and corner of this building has volumes to tell about its ex-inhabitants. Every place has stories to tell, which may drown you in nostalgia but I remember those days fondly. Its a sweet nostalgia in my case. Life was easy when Maa-Papa were alive.

The thundering of clouds brought me back to the on going moment and I realised that the winds had turned violent. A storm was expected. My eyes fell on Sonakshi sitting on the opposite side of the table trying to control her hair which were flying in every possible direction.

I ordered the butlers to clear the set up outside and led her inside my home.

"Kya hai?" Sona sounded quite annoyed while asking what I was doing

"What?"

"Why were you staring at me like that outside?"

"When?"

"Don't try to act smart Mr Dixit!"

"My eyes were never off you so can you please pin point the time when I was staring at you like 'that' " I stressed on the word THAT
