(Aiden Hancock)
Have you ever had that best friend that you love? Not like a best friend, I mean love. Well, I have a best friend who I don't want to be my best friend. I want her to be my girl friend, but, she has this boy friend. I hate him, I hate him so much. He has no respect for her. I would and could treat her so much better.
"Aid?" She asked. I nodded, making her go on. "Do you want to sit with Jake and I at lunch?" She asked looking up at me.
"Ur, nah." I paused scratching the back of my neck. "I'll pass, love" I said shaking my head. I didn't want to be around her and her boyfriend.
"Please, Aid?" She pleaded grabbing my bicep, I was pulled closer to her as she pouted.
"Rebekah, I don't like Jake." I said looking down at her. "You know that."I finished shrugging.
"Fine" She said dragging out the 'e'.
"Sorry." I apologised.
"It's fine, you've just never told me why you hate him so much?" She said staring down at her phone.
"That doesn't matter." I said pulling my phone out of my pocket.
"Oh, well, okay." She said looking confused. "Who you gonna sit with?" She asked.
"I'll sit with, Ben or Dan?" I shrugged. I new they'd be together and I haven't spent time with them in ages. They new I liked Rebekah, they understood why I hate Jake so much, they weren't to fond of the guy either.
"Oh, fine." She said pouting.
"Rebekah, I'm not gonna sit with you." I said sternly.
"Well, can you at least tell me why you hate him. You have to give me that c'mon!" She shout, fuck, that escalated quickly.
"No"
"Tell me. Now." She demanded.
"No."
"AIDEN!" She shouted, quite angry now.
"Nope."
"Tell."
"I LOVE YOU, FUCKING HELL!" I shout. "Is that good enough?" I shrug.
"Oh." She said quietly looking down at her feet.
"Yeah, now I've embarrassed myself." I said throwing my hands up in the air.
"No-"
"Leave it." I said walking of reaching the school. I made my way to my first class which luckily wasn't with Rebekah. I had music, somewhere, where I could be myself. I love to sing, when I sing it feels like no one is there, like no one is watching.
*end of the day*
I didn't see Rebekah for the rest of the day, I was actually quite happy about that because I didn't have to face her and explain the little confession I accidentally blurted out.
I got home and my mum had left me a little note on the table.
'Hi Aid,
I've gone to Nan's for the night, I didn't think you'd want to stay at hers so, I left without you. I hope this is okay, if it's not please give me a ring and I'll come and pick you up.There is money on the counter next to the microwave for pizza for you to order.
Have a good night.
Love you, mum x 'I didn't mind staying in by myself, if anything I quite enjoyed it. It was peaceful. I made my way upstairs and turned on the shower, I hopped it and let the water trickle down my back. I washed my hair, and got out. I threw on a pair of sweats and a red Adidas jumper, I looked in the mirror and my hair was flat. I didn't really mind I wasn't going anywhere.
