Crystal's POV

He's indeed a demon..

" I'm not a vampire nor a creature near that.. I'm a demon Crys... " his voice lingers in my head.. Arghh!! Why would I forget that? Curse you brain for being forgetful.

These descriptions never fails me to feel goosebumps all over my skin.

" A dark demon is a powerful creature that has the chance to be a human, dark demons are rare and stronger to be compared to any kind of dark creatures. Only some of them are willing to change their fate and dwell among us on earth. Their permanent transformation will only occur if and only if he will be accepted by their mate who they really are and will perform the activity in which only mates are capable of doing so "

Okay that was awkward for some reason. So all these time I was interacting with a dangerous creature? I can't believe it! I look for further more infos for more knowledge regarding to dealing with this demon. Wait.. Am I expecting that we will encounter one another someday?

Heck no.
But anyways I still had to know more. I ain't the one holding my own fate.

" Characteristics of the dark demon;

In his human form, he will avoid being physically contacted (only by the females), it only gives the demon form the rights to take over his body.

Never EVER say the demon's name, it'll provoke him as well.

Dark demons are to be believed to be very posessive to their mates.

I got curious why would they ban someone from calling the demon's name. But after seeing the latter gives me a reason to follow the advice. Now it makes sense why Jongin is frightened that time when I almost blurted out his name. Now I feel guilter for Jongin.

But it's just that it's very hard to comprehend with the situation where the explanation is very hard to be believed like ' hey! I'm a human but guess what? I'm also a demon '

" Sign that the person is the dark demon's mate; "

My eyes instantly glued to the screen upon seeing such interesting heading. What could it be?

" There is only one sign that this girl might be the dark demon's mate... "

I inwardly groan as I need to scroll down to know the answer. My heart beats crazilly for no reason. Maybe I already encountered something related to this.

As I am about to see the answer, I feel a presence in my room. Something mischevious and deadly. I close my eyes as I pray silently..

Please not him.. please..

I froze when someone sits beside me on the bed. My back facing him. I feel like I will die if I move an inch. I am more than scared, I'm petrified rather. I shudder when his breath fans my neck.

" That's right... fear me baby.. " his left arm snakes around my waist and I just sit like a monument, afraid for my dear life. He pulls me towards him and my back crashes his chest. He moves my hair away that covers my bare neck, sniffing it afterwards. Groaning with please, he nibbled my right ear. " You missed me don't you? "

Him, upon seeing the phone on my hands, seeing all about what I've searching for makes him laugh in amusement. He nuzzles his face on the crook of my neck that makes my eyes squeezed shut. " Awww.. MY MATE is curious about me *laughs* " my heart drops upon hearing those. I accidentally lose my grip on the phone which causes it to fall down. I-impossible!!

" Why don't you see for yourself then? " he teasingly bites my neck as he hands me the phone. My hands shakilly scrolls down and he's indeed right;

" The mate of the dark demon has the mark on her shoulder, either right or left. It's sign varies on what kind of demon he is, the rarest kind is a teleportation demon in which it's sign is a hexagon with a keyhole at the center which represents the key of all demons from the underworld, he has the power to unlock the portal between our planet to their planet. He will lose the ability if he devoted himself and changes himself into a human with the help of his mate "

" N-no.. I-I must be hallucinating.. this is just a dream! " I shake my head as I try to untangle his arms off me.

" Now, now baby hushh... Kai is here.. just say my name.. " his lips creeps to mine as he spins my head to the right. Lips of his inching dangerously closer to mine. He slids off the collar from my shoulder and I see the hexagon mark. He has the capability of unlocking the portal. He smirks at my thoughts.

" I have the fate of your world in my hands Crystal, you have the people's lives on your hands. If I get displeased with you then I'll no longer be the responsible of the killing spree, you see.. I'm their leader Crys.. the prince " I can't believe that he threats me. But he's indeed right, their lives are now on my hands. I can't just let them die because of me. I'd rather die first! Kai snickers at my thoughts for the second time. " You're just making it worse babe.. "

" What should I do then to keep their lives? " I ask desperately, I can no longer take the upcomming guilt if I fail. Guilty towards one person is enough for me, how much more to infinity?!

" It's just simple, please me.. " what kind of please does he wants? An attention?

" You know what I mean Crys.. " he spins me around to face me and pins me on the wall. I don't want any of this but I can't take the consequences if I decline. Somebody.. anybody help me..

" Time is ticking Crys.. " Kai warns, smirking.

" F-fine... "
