woke up from another nightmare and can't fall back asleep, so i'm sitting on my bed writing this entry. i decided to check on everyone a few minutes ago. the kids were doing alright, flowey was awake reading and watching over them. the king and queen were fast asleep — good, they deserve a rest. mettaton had a sleeping mask on. dad was asleep at his desk again — poor bastard refuses to get a good night's sleep. and papyrus fell asleep in his clothes again. he looked pretty roughed up, and he looked like he had just went to sleep...?

i checked the lab. the blueprints are gone. i'm scared. i thought i hid those safely! whoever found them could use them for anything, even to repair that machine which is better off broken. why haven't i destroyed that thing yet?! i won't be able to sleep tonight, even if i try. maybe not ever again. i have to warn dad in the morning.
goodnight, laptop. hopefully you'll sleep better than i will after tonight.

I WENT TO CHECK ON THE LAB AFTER EVERYONE ELSE WENT TO SLEEP. MY NOTES WERE UNTOUCHED. NOBODY HAS FOUND THEM YET — GOOD FOR THEM, BETTER FOR ME. IF THEY KNEW, THEY MIGHT SEE ME IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT.
IT LOOKED LIKE NOBODY HAD BEEN HERE IN WEEKS. JEEZ, THE PLACE WAS DUSTY. I OUGHT TO CLEAN IT UP SOMETIME SOON. ANYWAY, MY NOTES AND THOSE HANDY-DANDY BLUEPRINTS ARE HIDDEN SAFE AND SOUND, BACK IN THEIR PLACE, AND THE MACHINE REPAIRS ARE COMING ALONG NICELY. NOBODY CAN KNOW ABOUT THIS.
