#313 he sees the baby for the first time - z

Zayn: He didn't have the stomach to watch your C-Section but nonetheless he sat beside you, brushing your hair off your forehead and pressing gentle kisses to it every so often. The doctor held up the first of your twins, announcing that it was a girl before passing her off to be cleaned by a nurse. Zayn bit his lip whilst looking up at the first of his two children, unable to break his eyes away from the screaming child that was officially here. He watched her get carried off over to the table to be cleaned away before being brought back into reality by your light squeeze on his hand. He looked back to you, smiling. 
"She's all gunkey, but cute" He laughed. You couldn't help but let out a laugh at Zayn's comment, keeping hold of his hand whilst he smiled down at you. Before you could reply with some witty remark about his observation, the doctor held up your second child, smiling as he announced it was a boy. Zayn's smile grew even more. "A boy.." He murmured almost in disbelief. "A little boy.." He mumbled away to himself whilst you watched the doctors clean the babies. As they were carried over, you snapped Zayn out of his little daydream. The little boy, decidedly named, Oscar was placed into Zayn's arms and he looked down at his son. He couldn't stop smiling as the baby cuddled itself into the blanket he was tucked into. Your little girl, Georgia was looking up at you with sleepy eyes as you held her to your chest. Her cheeks were flushed lightly and she glanced over to Zayn. 
"Zee.." You said softly and he looked over, seeing his daughter looking over to him. 
"Hey baby G" He kept the smile on his face as he brought one of his hands to touch her flushed cheek. He had a complete look of adoration in his eyes as he alternated between holding his little girl and little boy, one of which you knew would ware off once the night feeds started when they got older.
