As the door opened up for the person on the other side, Sona quickly closed her eyes, expecting the worst, while Dev pasted a foolish smile on his face hoping to mellow down the person by flashing his killer smile............as both stood clutching on to each other, Asha entered the scene with an angered look on her face............"mumma aap?........"...........Dev exclaimed as Sona slowly opened her eyes to observe the intruder............"yeh sawaal mujhe tumse poochna chahiye Dev.........tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?"...........Asha questioned him as Dev stood numb hoping Sona would cover up for him............."aur Sona tu yeh inn kapdoan mein yahaan..........tum dono ne iss terrace ko koi restaurant samajh rakha hai kya?..........date par hi jaana tha toh kahin bahar chale jaate.........yahaan ghar pe kyun?.........."...........Asha smacked her forehead almost losing her patience as yet another fact strikes her mind............"ek minute............Dev tum andar kaise aaye?.........".........she starred at Dev expecting an honest reply this time as Sona spoke up this time.........."mumma, woh main door se aaya hai...........maine hi khola tha darwaaja uske liye.........."........she almost trailed off on her last words looking at Asha's gob smacked expressions............"tum dono ka dimaag kharab hai kya?............pehle hi Bijoy Dev se naraaj chal rahe hai..........agar unhone tum dono ko yahaan saath dekh liya to phir pata nahin kya hoga..........kyun karte ho aisi harkatein jisse baad mein pachtana pade..........".............Asha sat down on the bench dejected as Dev and Sona quickly neared here after closing the door behind them..............

Kneeling down infront of her, Sona grabbed Asha's hand as Dev followed suite.........."mumma, ismein Dev ki koi galti nahin hai........usne mujhse bass milne keliye poocha tha.........kyunki woh aaj subah jo hua, uske baad humne theek se baat bhi nahin kii na..........aur aaj main office bhi nahin gayi........warna wahaan mil lete............isiliye Dev mujhse milne aaya tha........"...........Sona elbowed him as he took her que and obediently nodded his head in agreement.........."office mein mil lete matlab..........tere office ka Dev se kya connection?........"..........Asha put forth yet another obvious question as Dev looked onto Sona for help.........afterall she was the one who created the blunder by bringing up the office fact..........."woh..........mumma..........mera matlab tha ki........Dev mujhse office ke baad milne aata na.........Dev ke office se bhala mera kya lena dena..........aap bhi na kuch bhi sochte rehte ho..........."..............Sona tried to correct her folly as Dev looked on silently, hoping that Asha would not catch their lie........."accha chalo ab yeh sab baatein chodo..........Dev tum abhi ke abhi ghar jaao...........isse pehle ki Bijoy jag jaye aur tumhe yahaan dekh lein, please tum ghar jaao......"............Dev and Sona let out a sigh, feeling content that Asha had finally believed them and also gave each other a sad look as Asha commanded Dev to head home...........with a heavy heart, Dev bid good bye to Sona and left to his place, as Asha and Sona retired to their respective rooms after seeing Dev off............
