Missing Pt.2

"Ponyboy!" Someone calls out.

I stop in my tracks, immediately recognizing the voice. I turn slowly and look up from my spot on the ground.

A figure is running towards me. Smooth tan skin, big black eyes, fluffy thick black hair... Johnny.

My breath hitches as his hair bounces through the wind as he runs with a huge smile on his face.

Am I hallucinating this?

I soon find out as he practically jumps on me, wrapping his arms around my neck, burying his head in my neck. I stand there with an indescribable look on my face. I have mixed emotions. I have so many questions running through my head I don't know which one to start with.

I gently unwrap his arms from around me,"John- Johnny," I say, my voice quivering,"W-why... w-where have you been!!" Tears build up and I try extremely hard to fight them back.

"Ponyboy..." he says, his eyes softening.

"N-no! Where have you been. It's been weeks, you h-haven't called or come and seen me, I tried looking for you! Where we're you Johnny?" I ball my hands into fists.

"I... I can't tell you that Pony," he tenses as I step closer to him.

"Why not?" I growl.

Does he even know how this effected me? Does he know how much pain he's put me through?

"Because... they..." he started playing with his hands, them shaking harder each minute.

"Who's they? Johnny I swear to god if you-"

"Pony, I didn't cheat on you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did. I love you but this... where I've been... I'll tell you, but it can't be now, but it will be soon," a small smile tugged at his lips yet I found no reason to smile.

I honestly wanted to stomp away, but I couldn't bring myself too. I just pulled Johnny into my arms, hearing him gasp at the sudden contact.

"Please Johnny," I said, my voice breaking,"Don't ever leave me again for that long..."

He replied with a shaky and hesitant promise but somehow... I couldn't believe him.
