Ponyboy finishes up his food along with Johnny and he asks for the check. The waitress nods and leaves to go grab it.

Ponyboy looks over to Johnny and sees Johnny pulling the leftover dinner rolls towards him.

"Still hungry?" He asks.

Johnny shakes his head no,"Nah."

Ponyboy tilts his head in confusion before Johnny starts pouring the rolls into the bag he brought with him.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm saving these for the road, I get hungry easily," he shrugs and finishes up.

Ponyboy breaks out into a grin and starts laughing.

"Johnny, you're the best."
