Chocolates

"Soda! I'm home!" Steve shouts throughout their apartment, setting his bag down next to the couch.

"In here!" He calls back, his voice echoing off of the walls.

I slip off my jacket as I walk towards our room.

When I enter, Soda had a bouquet of flowers in his hand along with a box of chocolates. Rose petals are thrown around the room and there's two stuffed animals lying on the bed. The only source of light are candles which are pomegranate.

"Happy Valentine's Day, baby," he says with a proud smile.

"You are so cleaning this up," I giggle, walking forward and kissing his warm lips. "Thank you, it's lovely."

He sets the flowers and chocolates on the bed and clicks on the radio. Our song 'Love Me Tender' by Elvis comes on and I instantly smile, pulling him into a small hug.

(Anyone know where that song is from? *wink wink*)

"Will you dance with me?" He asks and immediately nod, slipping my hands into his.

We sway back and forth, spinning in a slow circle. The song fades away as I close my eyes and rest my head on his chest.

"I love you," he whispers.

"I love you too."
