It is human habit to repeat.
I am a human
A deeply flawed human
I did not ask to be born this way
But we must make the best of our situations
And me
The pinnacle of unearthly disaster
Shall watch as those higher than me
Climb above and flourish
And I'll watch them ascend
Through the television screen I laugh to
And now the bravado is gone
Eclipses will fade
The thoughtless will prevail
Our mindless cycles must end.
