Misfortune lurks over my shoulder like a hawk,

I cannot stay,
But I cannot leave,

The desolate corridors of my thoughts,
That drive me to the edge of insanity,
What's left of me. Is just a ghost
Endlessly floating through space,
Wasted in the solitude of my brain,
I'm insane. And fading away
And the salvation I seek is strayed,
Unknown to me and my sinful soul,
Undoubtably alone. I am cold. I am stone
Denied of my throne or place,
Among angels in the sky,
Up high. I will die
But I will try to ascend and meet my end,
In the dark halls that await me,
And those who sedate me. Will burn
In the fires I ignite in my wake,
And I will be born again as a phoenix,
I believe this. Is the beginning of time
And life will be renewed for me eternally
