That I cannot rest when my eyes flutter closed,
What are dreams if I only know nightmares?
What is sleep if I only know alertness?
It's so hard to let the drowsiness overcome me,
And so frightening too,
To lose control in a frozen state,
Transported to another dimension,
But as long as the Earth orbits in space,
Let the silence fill,
What my mind refuses to pause...
I've hit rock bottom,
But where do the depths of the abyss truly lie?
