He takes my right hand and places a twisted copper wire ring on my right ring finger. I gaze up at him to find tears in his eyes, his grey eyes searching my face for . . . what? Assurance? Love?

"Always" I say, the words come out on their own and somehow I know that is what I will say to him forever.

"Mine" he claims, kissing my knuckles so lightly, it felt as if snowflakes just touched me.

He smiles, pulling my face closer to his and kisses me with so many emotions I could not explain even in a life time. I didn't want to, all I wanted was to kiss him, with all of me. To pour out all I had in me for this stranger. His hands cup my face and mine are in his brownish blonde locks.

Suddenly we are laughing and I am dancing with my arms around his neck beneath the sparkling stars and we are surrounded by snow flakes.

"Wake up, Rose its late. Wake up." Someone is pushing me.

"No some more please . . . no" I say groaning.

"Wake up!" Grandma shouts at me and I wake up startled. I gaze at my so-called alarm clock, which never had a chance to ring since the day I bought it, right now ringing at me like it was on fire and then the realization hits me like a meteor shower.

My subconscious still groggy from my last night sleep hangs her mouth open . . . my mind still trying to process it.

I, Ashley Lindinbourgh, insomniac from last three years just had a sleep of ten hours dreaming about a boy whom I had never met in seventeen years of my life.
