In my head I'm killing Derek, but I snap out of my fantasy when I hear a door

"Oh! Cassandra, can you hear me?" Deaton's voice. I know I'm healing, but I still can't open my eyes. I feel someone touching my arm and the pain makes me flinch and the touching stops

"Cassandra? Can you hear me? If you can't talk, can you give me anything?" I focus everything on moving my finger and I feel my muscles do what I want them to do.

"Did you just move your finger?" I moved it again

"Your arm is getting better, but it still needs to heal. I'm going to give you an injection to help speed up the process. Is that OK? Move your finger once for yes, twice for no." I move my finger once and I hear Deaton counts.

"That was only one time. So I'm going to give you the injection. Move your finger to stop me." I keep still and I feel a sharp point in my shoulder

"The stab is healed. That's good." Do you want me to call Scott?" I move my finger once more and I hear Deaton on the phone. I feel my head getting light and darkness consumes me again

"Cass? Cass? Cass, can you hear me?" I wake from the vague sound of Scott

"The only difference is that her arm is less black, but it's still this color of grey. She can't hear you." Stiles voice sounds sad. I try to move my finger again, but my arm suddenly feels like it's burning. In my head I'm screaming the lungs out, but I can't move a muscle so I know it's just in my head

"No, Deaton said she was able to move her finger. He gave her something, maybe it made her unable to move her finger again."

"I don't know, Scott. It's sounds too good to be true." I hear the door smash open

"No, it's too good to be true that she's even alive."

Derek!

I feel my anger boil over and I focus on healing.

This is my chance. Heal, Cassandra and kick his alpha butt!

I know it's not possible, but it feels like an encouragement and my arm starts burning even more. My head gets light again, but I won't let myself fall asleep again.

"Look!" Stiles yells

"Her arm! It's--"

"It looks normal again." Scott finishes for Stiles

"Go get Deaton, someone."

"Yeah, Derek. Nice plan. You should go get him." I can hear the disgust in his voice. Derek sights and the lightness in my head starts to faint away and I hear Derek come back with Deaton

"She's almost done healing. She'll be waking up any time soon." My muscles are starting to relax and I can feel the chance to open my eyes. I take a deep breath and for the first time I feel my body move during my breathing. I take another deep breath and I feel my body pull itself up and my eyes open in reflex. I hear everyone gasp and I lay myself back down, while closing my eyes again.

"Cass?" I slowly open my eyes again and I look at Scott

"Are you OK?" I nod and I remember Derek is still in the room. I get angry and I feel my body change. I scan the room for Derek and when I see him I jump up and choke him as I hold him against the wall

"What was that promise you made me?!" I scream at him

"I'm - So-Sorry." I feel someone pull me back and I push him off me and I hear something crack. I snap out of my anger and look back and see Stiles laying on the ground with his wrist looking wrong. I feel my body change again and I let Derek go. I sped to Stiles.

"I'm so sorry, Stiles. I - I wasn't thinking." I bit in my own wrist and was brought it to his mouth and he pulled away, looking at me like I was crazy

"Trust me. It's gonna help." I putted my wrist in his mouth and I held his wrist so it would set in the right place.

"I didn't know we could do that." I glare at Derek

"You can't."

"What makes you so special then?"

"You really want to know? I was never in danger. Not until you bit me. I can't even remember me being human. It's been so many years."

"What are you talking about?" I ignored Derek and looked back at Stiles to check his wrist.

"Try to be safe. Especially now that even I can bring you in danger." I say with a sad smile

"I will. I never had to intervene. I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be sorry. It's my fault."

"What makes you special?!" I glared back at Derek and I stood up. Walking over to him and I could see that he was just a tiny bit scared

"You can remember what I told you in the forest the first time we met." I saw the thoughts stream in his eyes

"You're that woman."

"What woman?" I ask, trying to remember the conversation

"That blond girl. You're older than you pretend. You're --"

"Yeah, that's me. Only now you know you can't beat me."

"I'm your alpha. You can't hurt me. You have to listen to me." Derek smirked

"From the moment you bit me I was an Omega. Get this in your head, Derek. I'll never be in your pack." I snap the last part more than I meant to. Derek didn't answer and the whole room was quiet.

"I'm gonna help get Jackson, but not as part as your pack. I'm gonna help as me. Take it or not. But I'm helping only if I can do my own thing."

"No, you'll get yourself killed."

"No, I won't. I even have a thought about  someone who's in my team."

"Your pack?"

"Call it whatever you want, but I don't see it as a pack. I see it as a team, a group of friends. Scott's part of your pack until we have Jackson, but I won't."
