"Can I go now?" Bonnie's voice was soft, making it clear that she really did regret unlinking them.
"Of course. You did what we asked you, so now you're free to go." Nick sneered and I glared at him for doing so.
"This way, Bonnie." I gave a little smile, but she just looked down. I guided her through the house and we came closer to the room Rebekah was keeping Damon. When Rebekah saw us coming, she stopped draining Damon and came to us, wiping her hands.
"Oh, leaving so soon?"
"Sister. Be nice." Nick ordered, even though he was pulling her along. I stepped between my siblings and Bonnie, making Nick let go of her.
"Thank you, Bonnie. See you in physics class." Rebekah walks away and reveals Damon, worse than Nick and I left him with Rebekah. I hear Bonnie gasp and I curse Rebekah for leaving the door open
"Oh my god"
"Yeah, you'll have to excuse the mess. Apparently Damon hurt her feelings." Damon started regaining his conscious
"Bonnie-"
"Go on. Help him. Save the man who turned your mother into a vampire." Bonnie stared at Damon and she started looking at him in disgust
"Just get me out of here."
"Very well." I hate Nick for playing her feelings like that. If he hadn't mentioned her mother, she would've saved him. Nick and I lead her outside and she walks away without turning around. She's going to call her friends I turn to Nick
"I think I should go home as well. I don't think you need me here anymore, do you?"
"Actually, I want to know something."
"Know what?"
"Did you know mother didn't link you to us?"
"She told me something about not drinking the champagne on the ball, but I didn't know why she told me."
"So that's why you didn't drink the champagne." I nodded, trying to control my heartbeat, which would be the only way for Nick to figur out the fact that I did know I wasn't linked and all my other secrets.
"You've always been her favorite."
"What do you mean?"
"With you being a witch."
"But so was Rebekah."
"Yeah, but you had moral. You were responsible for us, a bit like Elijah."
"Only female." Nick laughed at my little joke. I've always been called 'The Female Elijah'
"Yeah, only you're female."
"Was there anything else or can I leave?"
"I expect the other Salvatore to arrive soon, to arrange a deal about his brother."
"What are you trying to tell me?"
"That I think you should be there when he finds out about you."
"What? Why?"
"Because now Damon knows it, he's going to know it too. And I think you should be there when he does."
"Yeah, but why should I be there?"
"Because I think it's better if you tell him. It feels less threatening for him and such."
"What's in it for you if it's less threatening for him?"
"Because that means the chances for them trusting you will increase--"
"Which means you can have your sister on the inside of there plans."
"Give and take, sis. You keep your friendship, I have some inside tell."
"Fine, I'll stay, but not for you." Nick smiles in victory, but I think he knows, that if they really would trust me, that I still won't tell him anything. I go upstairs and send a text to Isaac

Hey, did you arrive safely? <3 ~ Ice

No response. He'll probably still be on his way home.
"Klaus! I'm here! Let's do this." Stefan's voice goes through the entire mansion. I run downstairs to follow the voice and I join Nick and Rebekah to enter the room they're keeping Damon.
"Oh, good. A hero." Stefan looks at me
"What are you doing here, Cassandra?"
"She's--" Damon starts, but Rebekah stops him
"Tell him, Cassandra." She emphasizes 'Cassandra' , because I know at that sort of point, she would call me 'sister', but Nick probably told her I was going to be the one to tell it
"Tell me what?" I sighed and looked at the ground
"I just want to tell you, that I wanted to tell you sooner and not like this, but I don't have a choice now. I'm sorry."
"What?" Stefan was losing his temper
"Come on, Cassandra. Don't make them wait!" Rebekah pushed and I took a deep breath
"I'm not who you think I am."
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm not Cassandra Nightingale." I sighed once again, looking at the ground. I gathered my strength and looked at Stefan again
"I'm Cassandra Mikaelson." The same look spread over Stefan's face
"WHAT?! You're kidding, right? Cause that isn't funny!" I looked down. No one said anything else until Nick broke the silence after a while
"What did you want, Stefan?" Stefan throws the bag he was holding on the floor
"I'm here to make a deal."
"Stefan, what are you doing?" I heard panic in Damon's voice
"Eight stakes, made of white oak. The part of Wickery Bridge that you forgot to burn." Nick looked at me and Rebekah
"That's impossible."
"Actually, it's not. Finn's dead." The news came as a shock to my ears. Tears were threatening to fall
"You killed my brother?" Rebekah said in a special kind of way that revealed the fact that she felt bad about it too
"Damon in exchange for the last eight weapons that could kill you."
"And how do we know there aren't any more left?"
"Because there aren't."
"Let's be certain, shall we?" Nick takes a step closer to Damon
"Nick, don't." I say, but it's too late
"Leave."
"No."
"Come on. Leave."
"Nick, he's my play thing, not yours." Rebekah whines. Nick grabs Damon and looks him in the eyes. I try to stop him, but Rebekah grabs me, shaking her head
"I said... Go. Home." I gave up fighting to my sister as I watched Damon trying to pull his hands out the traps, but it just didn't work and he was just making it even worse for him.
"All right, stop. Stop. Stop, before you hurt yourself." Nick laughs at his own sick joke
"Wow. I can see that you can finally be compelled. Now--" He gets closer once again and looks him in the eyes to compel him
"Minus the stake that's in my brother, how many more stakes are out there that can kill me?"
"11" I could see the face Stefan pulled when his brother told that
"11! Really? So not eight, then."
"You really shouldn't have lied." Rebekah bargained in
"I'll get you the other three."
"Yeah, that would be nice. Or since you lied, maybe I'll just compel your brother to chew out his own tongue."
"What's wrong with you?" Stefan spoke my thoughts
"What is wrong with you?! Do you really have no appreciation for me? I have given you someone to hate; To loathe, a target for all of your anger so you don't have to turn it on yourself. I have given your life a purpose as your friend. I really think you should be thanking me." Stefan rushes over to Nick, holding a stake
"Step down or you'll both die." Stefan obeys and Nick takes the stake out of his hands
"There. Now you'll only have to get me the other two."
"This is ridiculous." Rebekah walks over to Damon and starts to release him
"What are you doing?"
"I brought him here. I get to release him. My rules now. Bring us the stakes and you both live. Take your brother as a sign of good faith."
"I didn't think you would be the one to do that. I thought that would be Cassandra."
"Oh, I would if Rebekah didn't do it. I just would have done it over night."
"Right." Rebekah takes the bag and leaves the room
"Bring us the stakes. All of them. Or I'll wage a war against everyone you love. I hope I'm being clear." Nick threatens them again before leaving me with the Salvatores.
"I truly am sorry about not telling you, but if that's your twin brother, would you go tell the world you're related?"
"You're his twin?!"
"Yeah." I look down
"Doesn't that mean--"
"That I'm a hybrid? Yeah, it does."
"How could you have kept that from us?"
"I kept that from everyone." I sighed and looked at Damon
"Do you need help getting him home?" We both look at Damon and he sighs
"That would make things easier."
