Hanna had barely moved since her mother had died. She did what she needed to do for basic survival of course but nothing else. Her friends were worried but they understood that this grief would take a long time. She'd been put through a lot and her mind needed some time to put itself back together.

Arizona was beginning to get seriously worried about Hanna. The girl she knew was strong and knew how to live through grief. Of course, she knew that the loss of a best friend then a mother was very overwhelming but she would've expected Hanna to at least be functional by now. The only problem was she didn't know to talk to her without making it worse so, she decided to speak with Amelia.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask," Arizona said trying to be as casual as possible, "have you seen Hanna recently? Is she okay?"

"No actually I did go see her yesterday," Amelia said sounding surprisingly calm, "I think I'm gonna let Jackson help her through this one. They live together, he's her boyfriend."

"She's your best friend," Arizona said shocked at Amelia, "she was there for you everyday when you were 'sick' and now you're just gonna leave her when she needs you most."

"She's the one that keeps me together," Amelia explained, "keeps me on the wagon when I try and fall off. So, I can't risk falling off when she's not there to catch me, she screamed at me to leave her alone last time I went to see her so I'm gonna respect her wishes and stay on my wagon."

"No okay you don't get to that because she needs you," Arizona said emotionally, "she probably risked her job to help you last time so, you get to take the risk too. Take the risk so that your person is okay. She need you right now so you don't get to fall off, you better get your safety straps out so you stay extra tight to that wagon because if you both fall apart then everything goes to shit and you both spiral and I don't wanna know what's gonna happen then."

Amelia nodded in agreement after her lecture. Arizona a had a point, Bailey would've been at Hanna's throat because of the amount of time she took off for her. But she came anyway, even though it could've cost her her job, even though she was screamed at by Amelia to go away she still came everyday. So, if that's what needed to be done, Amelia would do it.

The next morning, Amelia decided to pop round to Jackson and Hanna's place to check up on her. Cautiously, she knocked on the door and waited for a reply. To her surprise Hanna answered.

"Hey," she said oddly cheerful, "are you okay?"

"Yeah," Amelia said very confused, "are you?"

"Yeah actually, come in," Hanna said walking back into the apartment, "I woke up this morning and was like, 'they're dead, they're dead and there is nothing I can do about it so why mope around all day you know'."

"Okay," Amelia agreed still very confused as she followed her friend into the apartment.
