zach has learned a lot about jack just from watching his actions and listening to him speak.

even if it appears zach isn't paying attention; he's actually observing and listening usually at all times.

"so you have four sisters?" i asked as we sat comfortably on the couch as scream played in the background.

"yes, but one lives with my dad" jack nods.

zach nods as well as he processes jacks words, they've been playing 21 questions for the past half hour.

just from what zach has heard so far, jack's parent's are divorced.

"what do your parents do?" jack asked as he took a swig from his water bottle.

"both of them are doctors" zach responded as he glanced at the clock.

"favorite sport?" zach continued, "basketball, i take it yours is soccer?" he asked.

"did the room upstairs tell you that?" zach smiled.

"maybe and maybe its those pictures over there" jack pointed and there on shelf sat a series of pictures that date back to when i was little.

shit, forgot all about those.

"you still play right?" he asked and zach shook his head.

stop asking about it....

"why not?" jack asked as his eyes darted across the boys face; watching his expression for any sudden changes.

"something's just start to get boring...you know?" is all zach said completely lying.

"yeah, it got that way with basketball" jack agreed. "but you still play don't you?" zach asked.

zach saw him playing last year with corbyn.

"bitch i'm failing i haven't touched a basketball inside that place known as hell since last years season" jack rolls his eyes.

"basketball season hasn't started yet, you still have time" zach said.

"soccer try outs are in two weeks it isn't to late for you either..." jack mumbled.

he felt his heart speed up.

"i don't wanna play though-"

"yes you do! i heard you last night talking to daniel" jack quickly cuts him off.

zach immediately turns redder than he already is.

"there's no point if there's no one there to support you" zach sighed as he glanced at the curly haired boy.

"daniel supports you."

this shuts zach up and he just goes red as he turns away from the boy.

"i'm kidding! bitch i'll support you, i'll be your number one fan."
