Chapter 79

"Dad," Ace uttered when he saw his father the moment his eyes opened. Sinalubong siya ng ngiti ng ama niya at hinaplos ang buhok nito. Tumayo ito mula sa pagkakahiga. His eyes darted on the woman that's sitting beside his father.

"Hey, I know you. I met you at the academy," sabi pa ng bata. Tipid na ngumiti ang babae.

"I'm Margarette Lorraine Willson from the Rose Organization. Nice to meet you, Little Stavros."

    Nanatiling nakaupo Louie nang makita ang dalawa na pumasok. The same as Ace, confusion flashed through her eyes. Sensing something, Ace went near Louie.

   Nag usap ng saglit ang mag-ama at nagkamustahan silang lahat. When Shane came back, she was shocked to see Marga.

"Marga?"

"Nice to see you again, Shane Sanchez."

"Bakit ka nandito?"

"We'll gonna talk about that later. Hinihintay pa natin na dumating sina Dean McGregor at Ivronsen," sagot naman nito. Shane nodded hesitantly before she go straight to Louie and passed the medicinal kit and utensils.

   Nagpunta sa isang sulok si Louie at tumalikod sa kanila. Spade's brows furrowed.

"What happened?" agad na tanong ni Spade na nakatingin kay Shane. Napakamot ito ng noo at nag aalangan na sabihan si Spade sa dahilan.

"Natamaan."

    Louie remained silent as she heard them conversed. Maingat na nilinisan niya ang sugat. She almost yelped when she put an antiseptic to the wound. Kahit sa lamig ng aircon ay tumagaktak ang pawis mula sa noo niya. And then she got a needle and a thread from the kit. She was about to do it by herself when Spade went over.

    Habang nag-uusap si Spade at Shane ay sumusulyap ito kay Louie. Ngayon niya lang uli nakita si Louie na hindi mapakali sa isang tama ng bala kaya alam niyang hindi ito simpleng sugat lang. Sanay na si Louie na matamaan ng bala kaya minsan kapag may tama siya ay naiiinda niya ang sugat sa matagal na panahon.

"I'll do it," he volunteered. Napa 'tsk' ang dalaga at inirapan siya. Pinaalis pa siya nito.

"I insist-"

"Tss. Manahimik ka nga. Para namang ngayon mo lang ako nakitang magtatahi ng sariling sugat ko," naiinis na saad nito at sinimulan nang tahiin ang sugat na hindi man lang naglagay ng anesthesia.

   Nakita ni Spade ang pagkagat ng labi ni Louie upang pigilan na mapangiwi at mapadaing. Hindi na ito nakapagtimpi pa nang makita ang paghihirap ng babae. He pulled a chair and gently pushed her so that she could sit. Kinuha niya sa kamay nito ang gamit at nilagyan muna ito ng anesthesia bago ipinagpatuloy ang pagtahi. He looked so serious and careful as he did it.

   Hindi mapigilang mainggit ng dalawang babae sa nakikita.

"Sana all..." sambit ni Shane at napalabi.

    Minutes later, the door swung open and Dean McGregor and Ivronsen went in. Their eyes darted first at the man who was lying in the bed then to the scene in front of them.

"Ano ba! Huwag mo masyadong laliman dahil masakit!" impit na reklamo ni Louie dahil hindi pa umeepekto ang anesthesia. Nakakapit siya ng mahigpit sa balikat ni Spade na nakaluhod at nakayuko sa harap niya.

"Shut up."

   Ivronsen immediately felt guilty as he saw the wound from the gun shot that was meant for him.

   Alam ni Louie na pumasok na ang dalawa. She didn't even dare to look at Ivronsen but just nod at Ivronsen's father. Not that she is angry at him but she rather don't know on how to face him after his confession.

   Nang matapos si Spade ay agad na sinimulan ang pagpupulong. They left Master Club on Shane's care. Dumeretso sila sa meeting room where the other organization leaders are already in a heated discussion.

  Napahinto silang lahat nang makita ang mga bagong dating. They stood up and greeted them, precisely, the old legendary Big Boss of the Hosaeg or the Gray Organization- Ivoux Jandel McGregor.

    The McGregor's organization, The Gray means that they are actually an independent sect, never swearing allaince to other organizations. Pero nag iba na iyon sa nakalipas na panahon when they swore allegiance to the Angelus Org. The Gray means that their organization is both doing good and bad.

   And as soon as all of them seated, they  immediately drowned into the discussion again.

"Ms.Willson, your presence here is highly appreciated," ani Master Asuna at tipid na nginitian si Marga.

"Your Organization is always welcome," sagot naman nito pabalik.

   As of the moment, Louie didn't know what is Marga doing in there kaya napailing si Master Asuna nang makita ang magkadikit na kilay ni Louie.

"Ms Willson?" asked Master Asuna, indicating her to speak up. Nakuha naman agad ni Margarette ang ibig sabihin nito at marahan siyang tumayo at pumunta sa harap. She acted truly like a rightful Mafia Heiress, representing her organization.

"The Rose is willing to lend people to help this Organization, as long as you'll fulfill my one and only condition," diretsuhang sabi ni Marga habang pumapasada ang mata niya sa mga nakatataas ng organisasyon ni Louie.

"What is your condition, then?"

"I want to build a partnership between the Rose and yours."

  Nagkatinginan ang mga nasa loob.

"No problem. We are also looking forward to build a relationship between your organization."

"It's settled, then. Just tell me when will you need it. This also means that our organization is forming an alliance with the Organization."

   As Marga finished her speech, they continued to discuss further on the Kuro Shiro Organization. Nagkaroon naman ng panahon si Louie para makapagtanong
pero bago pa man niya magawa ay naunahan na siya ni Margarette.

"Alam mong naghasik ng lagim ang pamilya mo kung kaya't humingi ng kaunting tulong sa amin si Spade Stavros. Swerte namang matagal na rin naming gustong magkaroon ng relasyon sa organisasyong ito, kaya ako na mismo ang pumunta dito. And by the way, our organization holds grudge to Samson Villaruel kaya hindi ko rin itatanggi na kinukuha ko ang oportunidad na ito para mapatumba ang Kuro Shiro Org."

   Hindi nakapagsalita si Louie sa sinabi ni Marga. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman niya na marami ngang kalaban ang organisasyon nila noon pa man at inaamin niya sa sarili na nagulat din siya na makilala ang isa sa mga ito. Oh, she doesn't need to be surprised after all but instead needs to be expecting more of them to come. Mariin lamang na napatitig siya sa babae bago niya pinasadahan ng tingin ang silid.

"Louie," untag sa kaniya ni Spade nang makitang nalunod siya sa isang malalim na pag iisip.

"Hmm?"

"What are you thinking?" tanong nito at lumapit ng kaunti para maibulong kay Louie ang sasabihin. Ivronsen caught a sight of his action and his brows furrowed. Napatitig siya sa mga ito ng matagal bago inilihis ang paningin nang mapatingin sa kaniya si Spade.

"Wala naman," she answered nonchalantly. Napabuntong hininga si Spade at inakbayan ang babae habang lumihis ang tingin kay Ivronsen. He can sense something towards the stares he gave them and he wants to confirm it.  At saka... chansing na rin. Bakit ba?

"You know, this is not your fault, right?You weren't the one who commanded to attack our organization nor did you killed our men so don't blame yourself. I am telling you this over and over again.

   It's an honor to have a Nemesis Louie Montero in the Angelus Organization. It's an honor to witness her every fight. Our fight is your fight and your fight is also our fight."

   This is not the time to be down, Louie no matter how heavy your burdens are. This is your time to prove to the Monteros that even you were not with them, still you are able to brought yourself a title of being a legendary. You have to prove them that you are not to be underestimated. Prove them that you are not to be bullied. Bring justice to your father and save your clan.
