Taehyung's POV

I sat on one of the benches, I stared at the windows on the third floor of the building. Remembering the good and bad times.

~~~
"Hyumin-ssi?" Jisoo's tender voice asked as we walked up the stairs going to the third floor.
"Yes?"
"Which class do you belong to?" Jisoo asked
"Oh, me and Taehyung are both in class one A" Hyumin shrugged
"Same." Jisoo muttered softly.
We reached third floor already and walked through the hallway filled with students. Some were at the locker section while others were just scattered all around the place.
We scanned the rooms, looking for our class. We found it soon since the first room we saw at the corner read 1-A
We entered the room. Some students were already seated. We picked a seat and sat in silence. The cluster of girls at the corner would talk and giggle then glance at us every now and then which made me feel uncomfortable. Hyumin's probably used to it, since he gets most of the girls' attentions here. It looks like I'm getting their attention too.
And I hate that.
Not long, the professor came in and class started. Just the usual of course.
But after the bell rang for lunch break, our first proper conversation happened.
Hyumin wandered around campus with his friends and told me to watch over Jisoo. Which she complained about, but she had no choice since it was his father's orders. That's when I found out that she's very obedient to her father.
We were walking down towards the cafeteria when she broke the eerie silence.
"So..." she started
"I heard that you were good in Math..." she started and bit her bottom lip discreetly.
"Mhm.." I couldn't say anything else.
"Well, I kind of.. Need you to be my tutor." she said sheepishly "Can you teach me? Please?" she asked shyly
"Sure, but-"
"-I know what you're gonna say." she sighed, cutting off my words "I can't let appa find out..." she trailed off, smiling. But her smile didn't reach her eyes. "H-he expects me to.. achieve, without any help. To be independent, confident..." she said, her voice cracking as she parted her lips once more to speak, but then she stopped. I saw her take a deep breath and look at me, smiling
Even though she explained it in a different way, I understood what she meant. Her father expects highly of her, and she can't let him down.
"Yeah. No problem" I said
"Kamsahamnida" she replied gratefully.
And eversince then, I've been starting to tutor her, every afternoon after school, we would go to the library and study. It became a habit, and to my surprise. We were getting closer.
~~~

I was riding on my bicycle down the street on the way to school when someone in a bike also caught up beside me.

"Hey" her soft voice said, shaking slightly as she tried to balance

"Aren't you supposed to ride with Hyumin?" I asked
