Third Person's POV
Jisoo practically tripped all the way to the hospital, she couldn't just believe it. She couldn't.
After asking the nurse what room number he's in, Jisoo made her way to where the room was and saw a woman sitting on the bench outside the room, sobbing.
"Aunt Hee.." Jisoo muttered, the woman looked up to Jisoo with tears in her eyes.
"Oh Jisoo.." she said, her voice cracking as Jisoo sat beside her and pulled her into a hug.
"I- I don't understand.. How did Hyumin oppa get into a car accident?" Jisoo asked, her voice barely a whisper
"I don't know Jisoo." Aunt Hee said, sobbing softly
Someone suddenly walked in, leaning on the wall, Jisoo looked up to see who it was.
"Uncle Xiu.." she muttered as a greeting, he just nodded in response and sighed.
The atmoshpere was gloomy as they both waited anxiously for the operation to be done.
They heard the doors open revealing some nurses and the doctor coming out.
Aunt Hee suddenly stood up and Jisoo followed behind her
"I'm sorry maam.." the doctor said.
"Wh-what happened to my son?!" Aunt Hee shouted, which made Uncle Xiu pat her shoulder to calm her down.
"He's fine.." the doctor said once again
Everyone sighed in relief, hearing that statement.
"but.." the doctor trailed off anxiously..
"But?" Aunt Hee questioned
"His head was injured severely, he.. he's in a coma.." the doctor continued
"C- coma?" Jisoo stuttered..
"What?! No! Do something to wake him up! Do something!!" Aunt Hee screamed hitting the doctor rapidly, Uncle Xiu and Jisoo stopped her quickly though
"We're not sure when he'll wake up.. but I.. There's an 85 percent of survival rate." the doctor sighed
"What do you mean survival rate?! He will wake up! He WILL! I don't care how much money we pay just let him wake up!!" Aunt Hee said, enraged.
"Aunt Hee, please calm down.." Jisoo said, the rims of her eyes getting red, Hyumin was a good friend of hers since childhood and thinking about what state he's in right now made her wanna cry
"P-please do everything you can to bring my son back.. Please I beg you.." Aunt Hee suddenly cried again, she can't imagine losing her son just like that. She can't.
"We will maam, Please excuse me.." the doctor said and bowed before leaving
The devastated Aunt Hee clung unto Jisoo helplessly, Jisoo supported her as they both sat down.
The endless ringing of Uncle Xiu's phone made Jisoo curious.. He picked up the call and left the hallway.
"Aunt Hee, please don't cry anymore. All we can do is hope for the best, Hyumin oppa wouldn't want you to act like that.." Jisoo said, trying to cheer her up.
Aunt Hee wiped her tears and held Jisoo's hand, hiccuping.
"Thank you, Jisoo." she said softly
"You're welcome" Jisoo replied
They heard footsteps approaching so they glanced up at the same time, it was Park Xiu, looking rather, stressed.
"Uncle Xiu? What's wrong?" Jisoo asked
"A lot of reporters are outside the family estate, rumors that Hyumin wouldn't survive were plastered all over the social media." he started
"The investors are questioning us now, they think their investments are gonna be useless if there's no heir keeping everything organized, Hyumin's not even married to you yet." he continued, rubbing his aching temples
"Well tell me if I can help in any way, Aunt, Uncle." Jisoo said sadly
"Its okay Jisoo, we can handle this on our own" Aunt Hee replied, sadness masked on her face..
"Its getting late" Uncle Xiu started, glancing at his watch "You better head home Jisoo"
"Of course" Jisoo nodded and turned to look at Aunt Hee "I'll be back tomorrow Aunt Hee, please get some rest as well" she said softly and stood up, bowing and saying goodbye to both of them before leaving.

"Jisoo Unnie!" Rosé's voice could be heard as they approached Jisoo altogether
"How's Hyumin oppa?" Jennie asked uncomfortably
"He's.. He's alright.." Jisoo muttered
"Really? Thank goodness!" Lisa and the others breathed a sigh of relief
"..for now" Jisoo sighed, continuing
"What?!" all of them asked, mortified..
They sensed it must be serious than what they expected and glanced at each other, Lisa walked towards Jisoo and led her to the living room
"Sit down Unnie, then tell us what happened, take your time." Lisa said, making Jisoo sit down, the rest sat beside her as well.
"Well.."
Jisoo started hesitantly, nevertheless, she summarized the whole story and told the girls how the Park Enterprises is in danger because of Hyumin's condition, the girls have been listening attentively to Jisoo and couldn't help but feel pity towards Hyumin as well.
"Well how did he get in a car crash in the first place?" Rosé asked
"I heard he was driving way past the speed limit, and Aunt Hee doesn't even know why, he wasn't pissed or acting strange when he last left the mansion so we don't know the real reason why he was driving that fast." Jisoo explained
"Maybe he's drunk?" Jennie asked
"No, there were no traces of alcohol in his system, and you know how strict and protective Aunt Hee is when it comes to Hyumin" Jisoo answered
"Looks like someone knows her fiancé well.." Lisa said while playfully nudging Jisoo's shoulder, hoping she could brighten the mood up.
Jisoo just forced a smile and sighed, determined to change the topic.
"Where's your mom Lisa?" Jisoo asked
"Oh, she's already asleep upstairs, which reminds me, we should probably sleep too. Its past midnight" she said, pointing at the wall clock
The others agreed and bid goodnight to each other as they went to their bedrooms.
Jisoo, who's tired because of her lack of sleep, fell asleep as soon as her head hit the mattress.
