Hi there, past, present and future readers!
This is my first time trying to write a fanfiction purely because I get extremely embarrassed writing about canon characters from things (stupid I know), and so it probably won't be all that great...
First note, there will be a piece of music with every chapter. Namely music that was used as inspiration, or music I was listening to as I wrote...
Also, I have a huge obsession with Fantastic Beasts, so little Newt traits may have sneaked into the reader. Sorry.
Another also, I REALLY want you, the readers, to decide which characters (within reason!) the reader becomes friends with. Purely because every story appears to go for The Golden Trio and Draco's friends (probably because they make the most sense storytelling wise...), and because I don't want this book to be 100% my creation. It's you, the readers, who are going to be inserting themselves into this world, after all!
