"So, what are we doing today?" I asked Demi.

"Well first I have to go to rehearsals and then we'll see."

We finished up getting ready and then went downstairs and got in limo already waiting for us.

I followed Demi inside the studio and up to the rehearsal room.

"Hi." She greeted some random man. I think he's the guy that is going to be controlling the sound system.

I sat on the chair while Demi put headphones on and went behind the glass.

I put my earbuds in and practically laid down in the chair.

I tapped my knees jamming out to my music. Okay, don't tell Demi, but I'm totally listening to  Confident  right now.

"You ready?" Demi asked as she pulled one of my earbuds out.

"Yeah."

"So, what would you like to do today?" She asked as we went downstairs.

"I don't know." I shrugged my shoulders.

"How about we go to a karaoke bar?" She asked with a smile.

"Yeah, sounds like fun."

"Alright."

"Hampston's Karaoke bar." She told the limo driver as we got into the limo.

He smiled.

Demi hurried to get out of the limo first just so she could come around to my side and open the door for me.

"Thank you." I said confused.

She smiled at me and grabbed my hand, leading me into the bar.

"Okay, we have to sing." She said.

"Fine by me."

We went up to the dj and Demi told him to play Castle On the Hill.

Demi and I got on the stage and immediately began singing.

Demi sang the first part.

When I was six years old I broke my leg
I was running from my brother and his friends
And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down
I was younger then, take me back to when I

I sang the next part.

Found my heart and broke it here
Made friends and lost them through the years
And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long, I know I've grown
But I can't wait to go home

Demi sang this part.

I'm on my way
Driving at ninety down those country lanes
Singing to "Tiny Dancer"
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

I sang this part, Demi put her hands over her mouth. I think she suddenly remembered that this part is in the song. Her teenage daughter singing about cigarettes and being drunk. Hmm...

Fifteen years old and smoking hand-rolled cigarettes
Running from the law through the backfields and getting drunk with my friends
Had my first kiss on a Friday night, I don't reckon that I did it right
But I was younger then, take me back to when

We sang this part together.

We found weekend jobs, when we got paid
We'd buy cheap spirits and drink them straight
Me and my friends have not thrown up in so long, oh how we've grown
But I can't wait to go home

Demi sang this part.

I'm on my way
Driving at ninety down those country lanes
Singing to "Tiny Dancer"
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill

I sang this part.

One friend left to sell clothes
One works down by the coast
One had two kids but lives alone
One's brother overdosed
One's already on his second wife
One's just barely getting by
But these people raised me and I can't wait to go home

We sang this part together.

And I'm on my way, I still remember
This old country lanes
When we did not know the answers
And I miss the way you make me feel, it's real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill

Demi high-fived me as we walked off the stage and people cheered. I'm sure it's not everyday they get a free performance from Demi Lovato. Me? I could get a free performance every day if I wanted to, but that would just be plain weird to walk up to Demi and be like "could you perform a song for me?" I'm her daughter. Yeah, her daughter can be her fan, but I don't want to seem all needy and such.

We sat down and watched a bunch of other people perform. All of them were really good. We got to see Confident, Shape Of You, Perfect, Here, I Love You Like A Love Song, Closer, Don't Let Me Down, and  Old Ways performed and that was just the performances before we left. I guess this is the town for stardom.

We headed back to the hotel and just relaxed for the rest of the day.
