Crap.

"What day is it?" I whispered to Sierra.

"The 13th. Why?" She whispered back.

"No reason." I mouthed.

The 13th. That would mean I should have started my period approximately... I counted on my fingers... ten days ago.

Oh no.

"Are you with us Emily?" Taylor said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What? Yeah. Sorry. I gotta go." I said, bolting out of the room.

I ran all the way back to the cabin where Demi was playing some game on her phone and listening to music.

I gently tapped her on her shoulder.

She pulled one of her earbuds out and said, "what is it Emily? Aren't you supposed to be in class?"

Tears started streaming down my face.

"Woah honey. What's wrong?" She wiped the tears off my cheeks.

"I-I. I-I w-was s-supposed t-to st-start m-my period ten d-days ago." I said.

"Oh. Well, you know what. Let's just go pick up a pregnancy test and start from there. Come on." She said grabbing my hand.

We had to drive an hour out of town as this camp is kind of in the middle of nowhere.

"How are you comfortable with this?" I asked her as she was looking through the different types of pregnancy tests.

"There's a reason why I'm the adult and you're the child." She smiled.

"Come on. Let's pay."

"What if I am pregnant?" I said on the way back to the camp.

"Then we will figure it out. I will definitely help you raise the child until you are at least 18 and have moved out. Everything is going to be okay. I promise." She held my hand.

We went back in to our cabin and I hurried to the bathroom.

"Leave the door open a crack." She reminded me.

"I know."

I pulled down my pants and peed on the stick.

"What do I do with it?!?!" I hollered.

"Just lay it in the shower for now." She told me.

I went out and sat on the bed with her.

"I'm scared." I told her.

"I know." I rested my head on her shoulder.

"Everything okay? You bolted out of the room like you were on a mission." Sierra asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." I went back in to the bathroom to check the stick, Demi trailing behind me.

"I'm pregnant." I said, another tear falling from my face.

"What now?" I asked Demi.

"Now, I think we need to leave." She told me.

"What? I was so excited to come here?" I told her.

"I know, but there will always be next year. We need to get you back in town, so you can get checked out by a doctor. That way you will be able to find out how the baby is doing and if he or she is in good health."

"Fine." I went back in to the room and packed up my things.

"We have to leave girls. I will notify the director and they will get you a new counselor." Demi told them on our way out.

I waited in the limo while Demi went and talked to the director at her cabin.

"Alright. Take us to our private jet." She told the limo driver.

We loaded our stuff on the jet and headed back home.

"I can't believe this is happening." I said as we got off the jet.

"I know." She replied.

You're such a mistake.

Demi doesn't want you.

You messed up this time.

You are going to make a terrible mother.

Stupid voices. Stupid demons.

Tears started running down my cheeks.

"It's going to be okay." Demi embraced me in a hug.

Before we even went home, she took me to the gynecologist where the woman did something called an abdominal sonogram procedure. She basically placed a probe and ultrasound gel on my skin, which somehow allowed her to create an image of the baby.

"It's adorable." I smiled.

(The picture at the top is what the baby currently looks like.)

"She is doing great. She's healthy and coming along very well for being three months in the wound.

Demi and I's mouths both dropped at the same time.

"Three months? How is that even possible?" Demi said.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"You most know something."

I didn't respond.

"Thank you so much." She said to the gynecologist and we walked out.

"I thought you only missed this months period." Demi said.

"I might of missed the last two as well." I looked down.

Demi raised my chin back up, so that I was looking at her. "Emily, talk to me. I thought you got pregnant with Austin." She said.

"He's not the first guy I've had sex with." I looked down.

"You're kidding me." She sighed and drove home.
