"Come on babe. We gots to go!" Ethan yelled from downstairs.
We were so bored that we decided to go to the carnival.
I put on my black sweater and walked out of the room I was in.
As I was reaching the kitchen I heard Ethan talk "dude. I just wish she get off my back! Sometimes I just want to play a video game and she would just hug me the whole time! Like what the fuck?! I just want some alone time dude. Sometimes I just want to yell at the top of my lungs 'get off y/n' and she said she was bored to?! Like come on not my problem you decided to watch a movie!"
My heart sank to my stomach as I heard him.
Is that really how he felt?
I didn't even know.
I did hug him a lot. He was warm.
I guess I just have to back off a little.

I wiped my face from emotion and stepped out.
He smiled at me and hung up with whoever he called.
"Ready?" He said smiling.
I nodded and smiled a fake smile.
He nodded and reached out to grab my hand but I quickly moved it away and stuffed my hands into my jeans.
I saw him frown as I walked past him.
Why is he sad?!
I thought I was too clingy?
He shook it off and walked behind you following you to his truck.
You got in and buckled your seatbelt as he got in the car.
He looked at you and smiled as he pulled out of the drive way. I smiled back and looked at the road again.
As he was driving he put his hand on your thigh but you quickly, but softly swatted his hand.
Ethan was sad but confused. What did he do? He thought of all the possibilities as he drives.
As he parked the car we both got out. We walked to the ticket booth and he as an instinct put his arm around your shoulder but you shrugged making him arm fall back to his side. He looked at you hoping you would look back but you smiled at the old man behind the booth as he put the wristband on you.
I smiled at Ethan and walked beside him as you guys looked for a ride.
Ethan then had an idea...
"Hey can we go play that! I can win you something." Ethan smiled widely as he pointed to the ring toss game.
"Yea sure, Ethan" you smiled and walked to it.
Ethans smile immediately dropped. You usually called him e, or baby, or babe, or even baby boy. But never Ethan.
He shrugged it off and caught up with you.
He won the first try and got all three in the bottles. He cheered happily and turned to hug you but you quickly turn around and received the unicorn front the man working the booth.
He felt more depressed by the second.
He wanted to kiss you endlessly and hug you ever so tightly. Just give you all the love you deserve.
You turn to him smiling still remembering what he said at the house.
"Y/n?" A voice said behind you.
I turn around to be faced with...
"Oh my god Aaron!" I laughed and dropped the unicorn to hug Aaron.
Ethans heart fell with the unicorn as you dropped it.
You and Aaron hugged missing each other.
"I haven't seen you in forever!" Aaron smiled at me.
"Me either! Oh my god we need to catch up!" I cheered as I grabbed his hand and pulled him with me to the rides.
Ethan wanted some alone time. He's getting it.
Ethan wanted to cry and just yell.
You just left him and the unicorn he won for you.
Ethan let a tear fall and he walked back to car.
He sighed and broke down into tears and sobbed loudly. He rested his head onto the wheel.
Ethan felt so cold and empty.
The reason he started dating you in the first place was because you gave him warmth and safe, you walked with such confidence and when you hugged him he felt so loved. Also the fact you were funny and kind. He loves you.
He took deep breathes but cried each time he inhaled. He couldn't stop the tears.
He always feared you would leave him.
After an hour you came back in the car with him with 2 banana stuffed animals and a cotton candy that Aaron bought you. Also with a heart on your cheek that Aaron drew with face paint.
Ethan looked at you hopelessly and managed to smile weakly.
You smiled back widely.
He wanted to cry even more. Aaron made you smile instead of him.
He sighed and began to drive back to the house.
Once we got to the house you put the stuffed animals onto the couch and went to the shower without even looking at Ethan.
Once you showered you got dressed and laid in bed with Ethan but you faced away from him.
He hugged your waist but you lightly pushed him off.
He started to cry which made you heart shatter.
"Y-y/n?" He stuttered while sniffling.
"What, Ethan?" I turned to him emotionless.
"Wh-why a-are yo-you ignor-ing m-me?" He cried.
"Apparently I'm too clingy so I gave you some alone time." I shrugged.
His heart shattered as he remembered what he said to Cameron on the phone.
He regrets all of it.
"What? No! Baby I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it! I was just confused and just frustrated with editing! I didn't know what I was saying! I regret it so much! I'm in love with you! You don't realize how much I love your hugs and your kisses and just everything about you! When you left with Aaron I cried in the car for an hour! Just please? I want you to be clingy again." Ethan finished and held you hands tightly.
All you could do was jump on top of him and hug him tightly while crying a little.
He hugged just as tight and cried into your shoulder.
After a while kissed you on the lips slowly but passionately.
"I love you, y/n." He mumbled into my lips.
"I love you more, baby boy." You smiled.
