I normally don't do authors notes, unless it's about future books.

There aren't gonna be any, just as an FYI.

But I've been a little hesitant about uploading on stories, specifically this one.

Do you actually like it? I used to get so many votes and comments, but they've since dwindled down.

Are the chapters too long? Too short? Not interesting enough?

I'm not trying to beg for the comments or the votes, I just want to know what I'm doing wrong.
