I can't describe mom's expression right which leads me to feel all the jittery all of a sudden. While Dad, besides mom, looks shocked and happy at the same time. Hindi niya pa rin ata naiitanim sa isip niya na anak niya ang ginawa naming kasambahay! And it's the biggest coincidence that had happen in our life as of the moment.

I, too, never imagined this kind of series of events to happen in real life. Things we watch in movies can actually really do happen in reality, huh? This is so uncannily amazing!

"Aisha... is my long lost daughter? This is n-not fake, right, Naialara?" Seryoso ang boses ni mommy. Kahit nang lingunin ako ay seryoso pa rin.

She looks like she's trying hard to hold her tears back. Maybe she thinks I'm just throwing pranks. I'm not like Sequi.

I nodded with a smile.

"Yes, mommy! That DNA test is legit! Kayo po ang biological mom ni Ate Aisha! I have sister! Look! 99.99999!"

May tumakas na isang luha sa mga mata ko habang sinasabi ang mumerong nakita ko kanina.

Akala ko tapos na ang moment ko. Meron pa rin pala.

"I can't believe it..."

"And so do I," bulong ni dad at umiling iling. He looks so happy now. "Where is she, then?"

Tumayo si mommy at niyakap ako ng mahigpit. She didn't utter a word, but I felt the gratitude in it. I felt the joy and various feelings. Pwede pala 'yon? Sa isang yakap ay mararamdaman mo ang samu't saring pakiramdam.

Maybe it will just happen to those people you love? Kasi minsan, hindi ba, may mga bagay na ang hirap paniwalaan dahil hindi naman natin nararamdaman sa iba ang mga nararamdaman natin sa mga taong mahal natin.

Inosenteng pumasok si Ate Aisha sa loob ng bahay hawak ang walis. Nagulat siya nang sabay sabay kaming lumingon sa gawi niya. I laughed with her reaction but tears started to come up.

I'm happy. But to see him right now makes my heart hurt for some reasons. She doesn't deserve what she has been through. She deserves a better life and family.

"May problema po ba?" Her slow talk made me smile.

Nobody's talking. Nagkatinginan kami ni daddy and he gave me a nod. I took it as a permission to tell her the truth.

Kahit ako ay hindi alam kung paano sasabihin. Alam kong mabibigla siya. Lahat naman talaga ay nabigla.

"Uhm..." I stepped forward. Lumiko pa ako dahil sa lamesa sa gitna. Nang makarating na ako sa harap niya ay inabot ko ang folder.

"Ano 'to, Naia?" Kunot na kunot ang noo niya. "Am I fired again? Bakit kayo umiiyak? I didn't steal anything..."

Umiling ako dahil sa sunod sunod niyang salita. Naawa ako bigla. How can she think that way? Pinagbibintangan ba siya na magnanakaw? Takot na takot siyang mapaalis muli.

"When I first met you..." Paninimula ko. Ngumiti ako nang maalala lahat ng iyon. "I had this feeling I can't explain. Something caught my attention and so my heart. That paper will explain why..." Hindi naalis ang ngiti ko kahit sunod sunod pa rin ang tulo ng luha ko.

Kunot ang noo niyang binuksan ang folder. Naglakad na rin si mommy palapit sakaniya. Si daddy naman ay hindi alam ang gagawin. He still walks towards us, though. Everyone is in shock. I can understand if it's hard for them to take in the news. This is a very big news.

"Wait..." tila naguguluhan na aniya matapos basahin. I think her world stopped. She's stiff and unable to utter a word.

When I saw tears started to land on her cheeks, I feel like my heart was squeezed for a moment. Sobra akong nasasaktan.
