The secret

Chapter 3

When I turned around I saw a boy with brown curly hair, his eyes shined because of the sun coming in from the window and I could see my reflection in his beautiful brown eyes. His smiles lighted up the room.

I just smiled. I get very shy around new people and when he didn't see me answer he said...

Joel: So what's your name? - He said with still that beautiful smile on his face-

Lizeth: Lizeth. -I whispered-

Joel: Nice to meet you, so where do you come from?

I didn't say anything. I wasn't used to boys talking to me. I didn't know what to say. Lizeth what the hell is wrong with you? Answer! I kept telling myself but nothing came out. Then a girl next to us spoke up.

X: Joel, chill! Don't interrogate the poor girl. Hi! My name is Veronica! -She said referring to me-

Lizeth: Hi. -I found myself say. I don't know why but as soon as she spoke up I felt comftorable around her.

Joel: I just wanted to get to know her. Is that a crime?

Veronica: Yes!- she said sarcastically-

I just giggled and Joel playfully rolled his eyes at her. She then asked the girl next to me (Samantha) if she could switch sits with her and she did. Veronica then started to tell me everything about class and I guess I found myself making a new friend. I guess this isn't that bad. Although I still felt Joel staring at me every once in a while. What could be so damn interesting about me? Veronica then talked about the school and the cool places to hang out. Long story short I found myself speaking a lot more with her than I have to my mom for the past 2 weeks. The accident happened about 2 months ago. If you are wondering why we didn't move here two months ago is because we had unfinished business back home plus the accident happened during summer break and the school year had actually just started 3 weeks ago. my mom wanted us to start fresh.

Before I knew it class was over and thanks to Veronica I knew most of the things going on in the school. From the gossip to the events coming up.

Veronica: Come on. You actually have the next class with me. -She said standing up.-

Thanks to veronica the classes went my fast and it was lunch time so I just followed her. She helped me get my lunch as we were approaching a lunch table with 4 girls.

Veronica: Hey girls, this is Lizeth she is a new student and new friend so be nice to her!

X: Hi, I'm Melissa, that is Clair, Vanessa, and Melany.

Lizeth: Hi! - I smiled at them. They seemed like super nice people so I immediately felt more comfotable-

Melany: Look at that! -She said pointing at a table filled with guys.

Melissa: Who is he? -She said with a giant smile on her face.-

Vanessa: Well who ever he is, he's got a nice ass.

After Vanessa's comment everyone just giggled. Then I realized who they were talking about. It was Zabdiel. In no time he made new friends like I of course knew was gonna happen. According to Veronica that table was for the popular kids and sitting down laughing with the rest of the guys was the one and only Joel. Why wasn't I surprised?

Clair: OMG! He is coming towards us.

Zabdiel was actually coming towards us and following him right behind him was Joel.

Zabdiel: Hey, so how is your first day going? -Zabdi asked refering to me-

Joel: Are you getting around ok?

Lizeth: It's going alright and yes.

Zabdiel: Well I'll meet you after school so we can go home alright? Bye!

Lizeth: Bye.

Joel just stared at me as he walked away. The girls were almost drooling looking at my brothers "ass" and "muscles". Eww disgusting. Well my brother is cute and very attractive to almost every girl but he is my brother so I've never looked at him that way.

Clair: What does he mean by going home with you?

Melissa: Girl spill!

They were all looking at me with their eyes filled with excitement.

Lizeth: Well ummm... he is my brother. -I said in a very low voice. Then I look up at my brother's new table and see Joel staring at me again. Once he noticed I caught him he immediately looked away. Why does he keep doing that? Then I look up at the girls and they looked so surprise.-
