The secret

Chapter 17

It was Wednesday night I was facetiming with Joel before going to bed. I was completing  my night routine as always which consist of changing into more comfortable clothes which I hadn't done yet, washing my face, brushing my teeth and picking my outfit for tomorrow. I always get too lazy to do it in the morning so I juts do it the day before.

Lizeth: Hey baby, I'll be right back! I have to change to something more comfortable so I can sleep. -I say grabbing my clothes-

Joel: I mean you don't have to. You can just change in front of me. I won't mind. -He said with a smirk-

Lizeth: Jajajaj ya quisieras! -I say laughing while I playfully roll my eyes-

I go into the bathroom and changed. When I came back I jumped in bed, I was so tired. I picked up my phone and I notice that Joel was now shirtless. I couldn't help but smile. He has a freakin 6 pack! My hormones where going crazy! Lizeth, contrólate!!

Joel: Buenas noches hermosa princesa! -I says with the sweetest smile-

Lizeth: Buenas noches, bebé! Que descanses! -I reply-

We then hung up and I couldn't help but go to sleep with the biggest smile. He just makes me so happy! It's an unexplainable feeling.

It was about 2:13 in the morning when I hearer a noice. I'm a light sleeper so a noice like that will wake me up. WTF! At this point I was scared out of my mind. I called Joel but he didn't pick up then I called him again. This time he answered.

Joel: Hola mi amor. Qué pasa? -He asks in a sleepy voice. Why is that the sexiest thing I've ever heard?-

Lizeth: Joel! There is someone in my house!-I whispered yell-

Joel: What do you mean? Are you ok? -He sounded worried-

Lizeth: Yea but I keep hearing voices downstairs!

Joel: It's probably just Zabdi or your mom. Go back to sleep, baby!

Lizeth: Nope! I'm gonna go check it out. -I quickly get out of bed to slowly open the door-

Joel: You do know that that's a classic scary movie move right? The person who always does that is the first person to get killed! -He replied with a chuckle-

Lizeth: Ayyy si muy chistoso! -I said rolling my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me-

Joel: Are you actually gonna go and check it out?

Lizeth: Yep! -

Joel: No! Ve y despierta a Zabdi! Que el valla a ver!

Lizeth: No, I don't want to wake him up. What if it's nothing? -I whisper back-

Joel: Well you woke me up for this? Why not him?

Lizeth: Because you're different!

Joel: How am I different!

Lizeth: Well, you're my boyfriend and I feel really comfortable around you already! -I couldn't help but smile. It's only been a couple of days since we've been dating so we are in our honeymoon stage-

Joel: I can't argue with that!- He releases a small chuckle-

I started to walk down the stairs and I remember that their was a better flashlight in one of the drawers in the hallway so I quickly and quietly grab it. As I was heading down the stairs I heard louder noises  coming from the kitchen.

Joel: Are you ok? Put me on FaceTime!

Lizeth: Shhh! -But I do as he said and put him on FaceTime-
