Chapter 37

Rebecca's POV

It was Saturday night and Alex had just arrived home.

Alex: Hey! -He came into the living room-

Rebecca: What's up? How was the party?

Alex: It was fine. I still don't understand why you didn't want to go.

Rebecca: Because everyone who goes to those parties are usually much older and or only go for the alcohol. So no thanks! -I reply-

Alex: Well your boyfriend was there!

Rebecca: What? -I asked confused-

Alex: Joel was there and I might've gotten him drunk enough that Lizeth had to come pick him up!

Rebecca: What! OMG ALEX! Why didn't you call me when that happened. That would've been a great opportunity for the next step of my plan! That could've helped us both! Remember our deal? I steal Joel away and you keep Lizeth! You're such an idiot! -I yelled at him in anger-

Alex: Sorry! I wasn't thinking!

Rebecca: So he is next door?

Alex: Yep!

I ran to my room to get my phone that was charging when I saw his car through my window. I picked it up and called him but he didn't answer. I called him a couple of times and no response. So I decided to wait until morning. He had to leave eventually.

The next morning I went downstairs and ran to him. That's when I found out that he and Lizeth were back together and probably slept together too!  I was in shock and completely filled with anger. I couldn't let that bitch ruin my plan so I decided it was time to move forward a couple of steps up into the plan. This was the threatening stage. I went to Lizeth's house and told her that if she doesn't break up with him then I will just have to tell the whole school about who she actually was and what she did! Her response took me by surprise! I then realize that I no longer had complete power over her so I had to expose her. Joel might hate me but I'm sure that the pressure from all the school calling her out might drive him away from her and I could swipe in and do my thing.

After the very frustrating conversation I had with Lizeth, I went home and started to dig up everything from the past. All the comments and the website would help me destroy her. I spend the rest of the day putting together an article that could potentially destroy her. It had to be perfect and it definitely took some dedication but it was worth it. All I need to do now is make some copies and share it around the school.

~The next morning~

I decided to wake up earlier today so that I could go to the school library and print copies of the article. As I was walking outside the library doors with about over 100 copies of this article someone stood in front of me not letting me pass. It was Veronica.

Veronica: What'd you got there Becky? -She asked with a fake smile.-

Rebecca: Some articles that I am going to pass around the school. Here -I handed her a copy- you get to be the lucky person who reads it first.

Veronica: What the hell is this! -She asked after reading the first few lines that read-

Rebecca: It's an article about the truth behind Lizeth. Everything about her past.

Veronica: Look you little bitch, don't you dare spread this around about my best friend! Either give me the copies or get punched in the face! I'd rather not lose a nail so chose wisely.- she responded in a very aggressive, overprotective, and sassy way.-

Rebecca: Look V, I have to do this. She has been lying to all of you about who she really is. Don't you want to know the truth? What kind of person lies to their best friend. Help me knock her out. You are better off with me. Just read it and then get back to me.

Veronica: I won't say this again! Give me the articles! - She yelled-

Rebecca: Damn it V! I didn't want to have to do this to you but, sorry! -I said before I kicked her in the foot knocking her down. I wasn't gonna let her stop me after I was already so close to exposing her ass!-

I ran to the main hallway after the entrance where everyone is coming in through and I started handing out the articles. After I handed a few Lizeth was one of the first to arrive and I even handed her one.

Rebecca: This is prove that I keep my promises! Now everyone will know the truth! -I said handing her the article. She took a look at it and walked away with sadness and anger. That's how I knew I had achieved my goal.-
