Lizeth's POV

It was now Monday morning and I woke up with the biggest smile. Usually Monday mornings are so painful to me but I was excited to go to school. Mainly because I would get to see Joel again. We spend all weakened talking on the phone. He would even wait for me to fall asleep so he could hang up and go to sleep as well! The memories of Friday and this weekend just flooded in and all I could do is smile.

I got ready as usual and walked downstairs to eat breakfast. I actually beat Zabdiel downstairs which was a first.

Lizeth: Morning, Zab! - I greeted him as he walked downstairs-

Zabdiel: Morning! -He sounded a little upset.-

Lizeth: Hey qué pasó? Why so sad?

Zabdiel: Me and Melany finally talked last night. -He responded-

Lizeth: I though you guys talked Friday night?

Zabdiel: Nope, we just made out that night. -He said in a smirk-

Lizeth: Nice! -I chuckled- Well what happened? Are you guys a couple now?

Zabdiel: I don't know. She said that she was gonna think about it all. She said she doesn't think she is ready after her last boyfriend. Supposedly he turned out to be a world class jerk. I think this is just a fling. -He sounded upset by the whole idea of it just being a fling-

Lizeth: Ayyy Zabdi! It's ok! If she doesn't want to date you then she is missing out on an incredible and one of a kind guy! Give her time to think! You are very special and don't forget that! It would be dumb of her to let you go!

Zabdiel: You know that she is your best friend right? Go easy on her!

Lizeth: Well I love her but you're my brother and you come first! -I said giving him a hug that was later interrupted by the doorbell.-

Zabdiel: who can that be? It's really early!

Lizeth: I'll go see! -I walked to the door an turned the doorknob-

And standing there, outside my door was Alex.

Alex: Morning, beautiful! -He said with his bright playboy smile.-

Lizeth: Ugh- I said rolling my eyes. I knew I was being a little mean but god I really dislike that guy!

Alex: Danm girl! Why so grumpy? -He said laughing. -Anyway, I wanted to know if you would like me to take you to school. I honestly didn't know if you were up yet. I didn't see you through my window this morning. -He said in a smirk.-

Lizeth: Through your window? -I asked confused. Then it came to me. That's why he looked familiar to me. He was the guy who would stare through my window.- Eww you pervert! That's why you looked familiar!

Alex: Surprise! I'm your next door neighbor!

Lizeth: Ugh- I said while trying to closing the door but he put his foot in not allowing me to.-

Zabdiel: Who is it? -He came towards the door- Alex, hey!

Alex: Hey, Zab! -He said in a smile.-

Zabdiel: What are you doing here?

Alex: I came to see if I could take her to school.

Zabdiel: No! She is coming with me like every morning. -Zabdiel didn't like him either so his older over protective brother instincts kicked in.-

Then we heard and car pull over. I immediately knew who it was. It was Joel. I recognized his car. The gate of the house was open, maybe mom left it open.
