Chapter 28

Joel's POV

It took me a second for what was happening to sink in then I snapped out of it. I separated my lips alway from hers as fast as I could.

Joel: What... what was that? -I yelled. I could see that my reaction actually caught her by surprise. What did she expect me to do? Cheat on the girl that I love just for her. Hell no!-

Rebecca: I just thought that you felt it too. We have this chemistry between us and...

Joel: What chemistry? There is no chemistry! -I interrupted her-

Rebecca: Look, Joel you don't belong with Lizeth. She is broken and if only you knew about her past! I know everything about her and she is a horrible person. You don't want to be tangled up in all of her mess! -She yelled back-

Joel: No, no, no you got it all wrong. She isn't the horrible person, you are! I know about everything that you did to her! Everything! And if she is broken which she isn't then you are the one who broke her. It was you! You did so many bad things to her and if she ever even forgives you for it then guess what!? I will never forgive you. -I yelled. I realized that that last part was a little too harsh and it's not likely for me to say that but when it comes to Lizeth I get blinded easily. I hate her for what she did to her. I thought that maybe things could get better and that she wouldn't mention the past. I thought that we could all just move on and not be able to have the conversation we just had.

Rebecca: So I see that she made herself the victim and made me the enemy! Well guess what that's all bullshit! -She took a deep breath- look baby, she is a mess and she is beyond saving. Why don't you start fresh with someone else... with me? Let's give this a try, shall we?

Joel: Mhhhh... wow! -I chuckled- No. There is no we. There is only a you. I'm glad we actually had this conversation because now I know the real you! -I said while grabbing my stuff and walking out.-

I can't believe that just happened. I knew it was some kind of trap and I let myself fall into it. How I'm I gonna tell Liz that I just kissed her ex bully and the girl who almost drove her to suicide? It's a conversation I'm not look forward to having but I have to tell her. I just do.

Rebecca's POV

Wow, That little bitch has him blinded! She made me the villain while she came out as the victim. She deserved what I did to her. What kind of person kills her own father even if it was self defense. Who cares! You murder someone then you go to jail. That's how it works. He is gonna be mine one way or another. She just has him under her spell and I'm gonna be the one to break it. She doesn't deserve the popularity and the hot boyfriend, I deserve it. I'm gonna take it all away if that is the last thing I do.

After the unfortunate conversation Joel and I had I went to class and we took the test. I nailed it of course. Like always! The rest of the day went by pretty fast. Alex and I went home. Me and Alex don't really get along. He is my step brother now. What can I do? I got home and ate dinner then went up to my room to listen to some music. Then I got up to clean my room. As I was cleaning I saw my next door neighbor through my window. It was a girl and she was sitting on a swing in the front yard. Then I took a good look and it was the one and only Lizeth. Huh.. what a small world. I decided to go pay her a little visit. I opened the front door and headed towards. Her house is big like mine so there is some distance between us. Then I reached her front yard.

Rebecca: Hey there neighbor! -I greeted her-

Lizeth: Rebecca. What are you doing here?

Rebecca: I'm your next door neighbor you silly!

Lizeth: Oh wow. -She sounded shocked-

Rebecca: Well how was school?

Lizeth: It was ok, I ummm... I got to go....

Rebecca: It was great for me! -I interrupted her.- I was at the library studying for a test when I ran into you bf and I helped him study too. Guess what my rewarded was! He gave me a kiss on the lips. Wow is he a good kisser or what?

Lizeth: You what? He kissed you? -I could see that her eyes were becoming watery.-

Rebecca: Oh yes he did. We also talked a little about what a mess you are and about what you did! I'm done playing nice you bitch! You don't deserve this life! I guess that this is my second chance to teach you a lesson. I'm gonna take everything from you! Starting with your sweet Joey then your friends!

Lizeth: Why... Why are you doing this to me? -She cried-

Rebecca: Because you deserve it after everything you did and because this is supposed to be my life not yours. I'm meant for the spotlight sweety and you well you aren't! -I said in a bitchy voice.-

After that she ran inside and shut the door. Well I guess my work here is done! Don't worry that was just step one of my plan and so far it's working out for me.
